im not sure if this is the right place, but would anyone know if the website salafipublications is reliable or not? or is it an extremist site. i know they quote notable shaikhs like ibn uthaymeen, etc, but still are they reliable?

sister, we don't support hizbi salafism or any extreme views. The people who follow the understanding of the Salaf are suppose to be on the middle path. Having said that salafipublications, salafitalk and triod are not reliable sites. However, they have some good articles on tawheed and Sunni 'aqeedah, which we can use or refer to. For more info and knowledgeable people's opinions about these websites you can refer to 1 and 2. Wallahu A'lam.

Its a Shame on those who claim Salfitalk and Salafipublications are Hizbiyyah where as they have no proof against them. Its common amongst Ikhwanis to claim to be salafi and then criticize the true Salafis and try to divide Ahl asSunnah ,an old trick.

And the fact is that none of the Kibaar Ulema have ever called SP Hizbi, never.Infact the SP's have Tazkiyah from Shuyookh like:

Imam Abd al-Muhsin Al Abbad, Abd al-Azeez Al-Aqeel, Shaykhs like Salih al-Fawazaan,Rabee ibn Hadee, Ubayd al-Jabiree, Yahya Al- Hajuree, Abu Abd al-Kareem Hajuree........................etc.

Infact the SalafiTalk and Salafi Publications are one of the Most reliable Salafi/Athari/Sunni forums and sites on the cyberspace unlike the false Ikhwani claiming to be Salafi.Please visit the Salafitalk and see with your own eyes the Tazkiyah given to SP by numerous Shuyookh and Imams.

the proofs are too many but some people simply don't want to realize it. And I don't need to learn about Qutbis, Ikhwanis and Saruris from hizbi people. At least we don't go around parrot that we are salafis and on the manhaj and everyone else is not salafi and off the manhaj. This is hizbiyyah just in case you didn't know. All the kaabir ulama warned against this salafi hizb. The gult and problems which madkhalis brought have destroyed the da'wah salafiyyah and created unnecessary hate in the heart of Muslims for each other. Please spare us from such a salafiyyah. The way of the salaf is to be like them in every aspect and not just parrot about aqeedah and manahaj all the time, which is form of irjaa, just in case you didn't know.

I dont take from shaykh rabee and rest of his students. Shaykh Fawzaan have refuted the murjism and hizbiyyah of these guys many times. I don't know much about Shaykh Muhsin and Aqeel as i have not read their works. But I am sure they are also free from what these guys claim.

Shaykh Haitham Hamadan (may Allah preserve him) summed up these guys very nicely on Multaqa and I will take his words any day. Maybe you should visit Madkhalis.Com sometime.
