| :If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he is naked, Allah will clothe him with some green garments of paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, Allah will feed him with some of the fruits of paradise; and if any Muslim gives a Muslim drink when he is thirsty, Allah will give him some of the pure wine which is sealed to drink. (Sunan Abu Dawud Book #9, Hadith #1678) Narrated AbuUmamah: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of paradise for a man who made his character good. (Sunan Abu Dawud Book #41, Hadith #4782) It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that when the son of Adam recites the Ayat of Sajdah (prostration) and then falls down in prostration, the Satan goes into seclusion and weeps and says: Alas, and in the narration of Abu Kuraib the words are: Woe unto me, the son of Adam was commanded to prostrate, and he prostrated and Paradise was entitled to him and I was commanded to prostrate, but I refused and am doomed to hell. (Sahih Muslim Book #001, Hadith #0144) |
