| AssalamuAlaykum This is just an off-shoot from vicky's thread but I'm posting here because I didnt want my question to confuse her. The reason I put Brother Qatada as the thread title is because he's the only one online at the moment and because he's already posted in her thread...anybody can answer though insha'Allah... But yeah...something worth mentioning in vicky's thread...but I'm not 100% sure of it so just wanted to make ask... When I was at school I heard that when Adam (as) was made to live on earth, he begged Allah (swt) to be forgiven right? For eating from the forbidden tree? And both Adam and Hawwa (as) cried and begged, and then finally Adam (saw) asked to be forgiven for the sake of Prophet Muhammad SallalahuAlayhi Wassalam, when Allah asked where he had seen the name of the prophet, Adam (as) replied that he had seen the kalimah (our kalimah that we recite today) written on Allah's throne... Is that correct? Coz I only remember it vaguely? If it its true I think it highlights the importance of Muhammad (saw) Also...with regards to vicky's thread... WassalamuAlaykum
