| :After every 7 years your body has renewed itself totally, so each cell in your body has been replaced by a new one. Cell renewal is the process by which the body regenerates its tissues on a daily basis. 300 billions cells replicate themselves daily just before they die. The results are a new body every 7 years in terms of the age of the cell. This is a sign that the 'self' [or in the islamic sense: the soul] is not dependant upon the body since the human 'self' remains the same, although the body 'dies' and replaces itself with new cells [and finally a new body] after every 7 years. So an average person living upto around 70 will have lived and died (physically) around 10 times. A sign that Allah can bring life back to the dead, causing them to die and giving it life once again. |

| :Jazak Allah khayr for sharing bro and you've raised a good point, mash'Allah. I wouldn't say that a physical body doesn't have any impact on the soul. It does, as we grow older, the characteristics and behaviour which we develop is affected by our physical growth. So, in a way the physical body does affects our soul. one important point to note is that when we born the duration of how many times our cells can replace themselves decide the age of our physical body (the worldly life).
