> Auwliya-Allah ( Friends of Allah ) Sect attributed to Islam

Assalam o alaikum wr wb.

There is a sect developed and attributed to Muslims and Islam called as Auwliya Allah means Friends of Allah .

They have many differences compared to those of Muslims who follow Allah and His Messenger ( peace be upon him ).

I'll write just a bit about it and let us join together and expose the reality of this cult.

Some ideologies amongst this cult :

1. Special duruds ( prayers ) for Prophet ( PBUH )
2. Using the word " Ya Rasool / Ya Muhammad ) in prayers etc.
3. Considering them to be friends of Allah
4. They pray for spiritual elders in a manner unsuitable with the way Prophet taught us.
5. Using the intercession of living and also DEAD religious scholars / elderlys and seeking there intercession and praying to them.


The above is just an incomplete over view.

I was speaking to a member of faith of Auwliya Allah and she said that the reason they use intercession of spiritual people , although she wasnt aware of any reason but because her family/forefathers continued this tradition so they must have had some reasons and its not Biddat.

For people such , Allah ( SWT ) has said in His Noble Book , In Chapter 2 , Verse 170:

170 When it is said to them: "Follow what Allah hath revealed:" They say: "Nay! we shall follow the ways of our fathers." What! even though their fathers Were void of wisdom and guidance?

I want them to contemplate on this and tell me If what they are doing is in The Religion of God and If it is , then please show me where and If it is not then please tell me why do you do something which our religion didnt tell us to do ?

I would also want to ask the people of faith in Auwliyai Allah ( Friends of Allah ) that no where did Allah in His Book said that any creation is His Friend , apart from Prophet Abraham ( may Allah praise him ) who deserved the title of "Khalil Allah " ... So why do you people conside yourself to be Friends of Allah ? Is it not a lie devised against Allah?

And If you are a friend of Allah The Exalted , The Lord of the Universe then why does He punish you for your sins?

I want to ask those Friends of Allah who pray via intercession of Spiritual Elderly who no longer remain on the face of this world but they still seek there intercession before The Lord to tell me that do they consider the status of our Prophet and those elderlys as one?

Is our Prophet PBUH equal in the status to those spiritual elders?? If no then have a look:

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "For every prophet there is one (special invocation (that will not be rejected) with which he appeals (to Allah), and I want to keep such an invocation for interceding for my followers in the Hereafter."


Narrated Anas: that the Prophet said, "For every prophet there is an invocation that surely will be responded by Allah," (or said), "For every prophet there was an invocation with which he appealed to Allah, and his invocation was accepted (in his lifetime), but I kept my (this special) invocation to intercede for my followers on the Day of Resurrection."

Both taken from Shih Bukhari.

Now we can see that the previlige of intercession on behalf of the Ummah is exclusive to our Prophet PBUH.

Yet those who are away from truth claim others to have the right for intercession..

Please think about it .

Nopes , they are not realted to sufism . They are deviant sect of Sunni Muslims and majority is found in Pakistan and India.

As I see the comments you made against are similar to practices in Sufism.

- Allahs says "Allahu valiyulladeena amanu"
This is how mumins become Wali of allah
- Regarding
Can any body else other than Prophet gives shafath
Prophet has got shafathul kubra
Quran says
"falam annahu la ilaha illallah fasthagfirli zanbika valil mumineena val muminath"
You know la ilaha illallah then I will give magfirath to you and to those for whom you say to give magfirath among mumins and muminaths

There are 2 kinds of mumins
Thasdeeq and Thaq leed
Thaqleed mumins just follow faith but thasdeeq mumins have real faith
