بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: With the Name Of Allah (God), the Bestower Of Mercy, the Most Merciful.
[ 52:1 ]
وَالطُّورِ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: By the Tur (Mount);
[ 52:2 ]
وَكِتَابٍ مَّسْطُورٍ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: And by the Book Inscribed.
[ 52:3 ]
فِي رَقٍّ مَّنشُورٍ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: In parchment unrolled.
[ 52:4 ]
وَالْبَيْتِ الْمَعْمُورِ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: And by the Al Bait-ul-Ma'mûr (the house over the heavens parallel to the Ka'bah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels);
[ 52:5 ]
وَالسَّقْفِ الْمَرْفُوعِ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: And by the roof raised high (i.e. the heaven).
[ 52:6 ]
وَالْبَحْرِ الْمَسْجُورِ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: And by the sea kept filled (or it will be fire kindled on the Day of Resurrection).
[ 52:7 ]
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَاقِعٌ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: Verily, the Torment of your Lord will surely come to pass,
[ 52:8 ]
مَا لَهُ مِن دَافِعٍ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: There is none that can avert it;
[ 52:9 ]
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ السَّمَاء مَوْرًا
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: On the Day when the heaven will shake with a dreadful shaking,
[ 52:10 ]
وَتَسِيرُ الْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: And the mountains will move away with a (horrible) movement.
[ 52:11 ]
فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: Then woe that Day to the beliers;
[ 52:12 ]
الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: Who are playing in falsehood.
[ 52:13 ]
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: The Day when they will be pushed down by force to the Fire of Hell, with a horrible, forceful pushing.
[ 52:14 ]
هَذِهِ النَّارُ الَّتِي كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: This is the Fire which you used to belie.
[ 52:15 ]
أَفَسِحْرٌ هَذَا أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
English Dr. Mohsin Khan: Is this magic, or do you not see?
