Default Reward For Using Your Right Hand

salam ma alaykam toodlings:D

islam is beautifull, and its so simple to gain reward, praying, fasting, zakah, subhanAllah beautifull acts, however there are little little things which carry reward, so we should try to maximise our reward gettin!!!

now have we all got right hands? i think yes! WELL USE THEM!!!

reead the rewards of using the right hand! and if your left handed, then erm chop it off and start using your right one:p

Verses In Quran

"Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: `Take, read my Record!''' Surah Al Haqqah v19

"So those on the Right Hand (i.e., those who will be given their Records in their right hands) how (fortunate) will those be on the Right Hand! (As a respect for them, because they will enter Jannah). And those on the Left Hand (i.e., those who will be given their Record in their left hands) how (unfortunate) will those be on the Left Hand! (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell).'' Surah Al Waqiah v8 - 9

May Allah (swt) giv us all our records in our rite hand, Ameen!!!

In Hadiths

Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) liked to use his right hand in all matters: in combing his hair and wearing his shoes.[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: Messenger of Allah was used to using his right hand for performing Wudu' and for eating his food whereas he was used to using his left hand in his toilet and for other similar purposes. [Abu Dawud]

Umm `Atiyyah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) instructed us at the time of washing the dead body of his daughter Zainab (May Allah be pleased with her) to begin with her right side, and from the parts that are washed in Wudu'.
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Messenger of Allah (PBUH) used to use his right hand for eating, drinking and wearing his clothes and used to use his left hand for other purposes.
[Abu Dawud].

so get them right hands moooving

AsalamuAlaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

JazakAllah khair for reminder, even those without their original right hands can use their right hands if you get what I mean, so we don't have no excuses.

Aleykum selam,

JazakAllah kheyr for sharing! This brings back memories.

The Christian children, or at least here in Finland, are brought up to place the fork on the left side of the plate and eat then with the left while using a fork (weirdly enough, they eat with the right when they use a spoon). When I was in first grade and my father saw us children doing so, we got the rant of our lives! I will never forget that! I got so scared for doing wrong and trained myself everyday to eat always no matter what with the right! My sisters likewise. Elhamdulillah! :D

And today I get surprised looks by the Christians at the table, so quite often I get to tell about how it's recommended for us Muslims to eat with the right. A lil' bit dawah.

Shaqiq bin `Abdullah reported: The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) did not consider the abandonment of any action as disbelief except neglecting Salat.
[At-Tirmidhi].

Commentary: The opinion of the Companions of the Prophet (PBUH) was based on the information contained in the Ahadith which have been mentioned above. They did not take the Ahadith which interpreted the leaving of Salat as Kufr mere scolding or reproof. They considered slackness and negligence in Salat as Kufr and apostasy and regarded Salat a symbol of Islam.

^ Siblings?

Usually little children like to use 'any' hand to eat and stuff,

A nice reminder:

When a man ate with his left hand in his presence, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ?Eat with your right hand.? He said, ?I cannot.? He said, ?May you never be able to!? Nothing was stopping him but his stubborn arrogance, and he never raised his right hand to his mouth after that. (Reported by Muslim, 3776). According to a report narrated by al-Darimi, ?his right hand never reached his mouth?. This man suffered paralysis because of the du?a? of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

AsalamuAlaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
