> Are we preparing for the hoors in paradise?

brothers...are we working to earn Allah's pleasure and company of Hoor-al-Ayn in paradise?

Apart other duties of Islam, we have to forego the beauty of women in this world (except wife). so that means no unnecessary chatting, dating, gf's, physical relations,etc.

"If one of the women of Paradise were to look at the people of this world, everything in between them would be lit up and filled with her fragrance. The veil on her head is better than this world and everything in it." [al-Bukhaari]

"al-Hoor al-'Eeyn are singing in Paradise saying, "We are the beautiful houris, we are being kept for noble husbands."" [Saheeh al-Jaami']

"And [there will be] Houris with wide lovely eyes [as wives for the pious], Like unto preserved pearls." [56:22-23]

PS: sisters feeling jealous? They should not bcoz thy will be superior to Hoors. And also by desiring hoors, their husbands will not run after other girls.

Rasûlullah replied, "The women of this world will have superiority over the hûrs just as the outer lining of a garment has superiority over the inner lining."... "Because they performed salâh, fasted, and worshipped [Allah]. Allah will put light on their faces and silk on their bodies...".

well I am planing to visit so many brothers and sisters there(insha'Allah Ta'aala!),so it is good to know that somebody will take care for my husband,as the males always need care,regardless age,regardless where..!!!Not jealous.

"verily the dwellers of jannah, that day, will be busy with joyful things." (36:55)

Ibn Masood, Ibn Abbaas and many more said: 'busy with joyful things' means 'busy with deflowering virgins'

Anas said that the prophet SAW said 'In paradise, the believer will be given the strangth of such and such number of men.' Anas said 'i said, o messenger of allaah,and who will be able to bear that?' he said 'he will be given tyhe strength of 100 men.'

abu udawud, tirmidhi 'saheeh ghareeb'

abu huraira: it was asked 'oh messenger of allaah, will a man afdaa (be alone to have sexual intercourse with his wife) in paradise?' the prophet said 'by the One in whos hand is my soul, in a single early morning, a man will yufdee (be alone to have sexual relations) with 100 virgins.' tabaranee.

abu huraira: the messenger of alaah was asked 'will the people of paradise touch their wives?' he said 'with private parts that do not bore or tire and with a desire that does not cease.' Al-Bazaar - Alaahu alam of authenticity.

abu huraira: the messenger of alaah was asked 'will we have sexual intercourse in paradise?' he said 'yes, and by the one who has my sould in His Hand, dahman dahman (i.e, he will push through with force and vigor) and when he stands up from her, she will return to being a purified virgin.'

abu umaamah: the messenger of allaah was asked: 'will the people of paradise engage in sexual intercourse?' he said 'dahman dahman (entering with force) but there will be no sperm nor death.'

because sperm ends the pleasure of sex and death ends the pleasure of life, so both are negated and non-existent in paradise.

Allah has prepared a joyful place for the believers and they will get whatever they wish. They greatest pleasure for dwellers of paradise is being among those who will see the Face of their Lord. May Allah protect us from hell fire and write us among those who will see the Face of Allah Azza wa Jal, ameen

Salman was questioning the merit of "some' of the narrations authenticity, he was not, nor could he ever deny the actual concept of hoorul-ayn by due right of his Islam. His merely being a muslim could never allow him to reject a fact reported by Allah and His messenger.

Yes,there is no Satan in Paradise :) There is other hadeeth for the singing hooris if am not wrong..

I know brother salman was not rejecting the concept of hoorul-ayn. If anyone denies the actual concept of hoorul-ayn it will be tantamout to rejection of Allah's words. I was just asking whether it is the "singing aspect" which he has doubt about authenticity.
