And after he gave her the answer, she asked him to pray to Allah that she is bless with Sheikh Mohammad Al-Arifi as her husband. Sheikh Almutlaq replied to her saying do you want Sheikh Alarifi for his good looks or knowledge? She answered for his knowledge. Sheikh Almutlaq replied to her that Sheikh Saleh Alsadlan was more knowledgeable than him, I will pray to Allah that you be blessed with him as a husband.  Mohammad Alarifi  Al-Sadlan Source

However, the Prophet (sal-allahu alayhi wa sallam) said that look for a religiously committed spouse. and Allah knows best brother loony, jazak Allah khayran for sharing; it was indeed a nice reply by our shaykh

Don't you think shaikh al-Sadlan would be a boring husband? I mean with his amount of knowledge and experience how you can for example discuss maters of Islam?He will not give you even chance to discuss !?Better read books form old shaiks,don't marry them. :) And why not a convert in his 30s?
