Akh boriqee, theres a guy called patcondell on youtube who makes anti islamic polemic vids on youtube. He has over hundred thousand views per vid.

Since you have experience in this field (polemics), why dont u give video responses? Which will increase your dawah in this field more insha Allah and u can advertise your site too? Its much needed.

If i can manage to get my video cam working, i may offer a video response on the more important critiques he offers, otherwise, it may only be audi with some kind of video of masjids or better yet, the havoc and destruction of westerners caught on video.

Im currently listening to them now and its a big giant bowl of nagging and that european accent just makes it worse. The first thing that pops to one's mind when hearing him four about 30 seconds is "SHUT UP"

The replies given to him by some black dude who is not even Muslim is much more professional, down to earth, more intuitive.

anyways this Pat character sounds just as stupid as our resident christians here on the forum. Well, not all, just two that I have in mind.

this old man is tired of his life as there is no one to look after him so all he does is whine and complain; he is more of a mental case, like many athiests out there, so he is not worth of our attention and refutations. It will only make him feel better if we respond and we do not want to do that.

I feel the same way. If Im going to spend my time to respond in such a manner, I would do so for more influential people, AND people who have a just a little bit more intelligence than this guy. In the lecture Yasir Qadhi gave on defedining the prophet against orientalist critique, I don;t know if anyone noticed, but he said quite subtly that in this polemic, if a muslim truely wants to get involved in this polemic, then he has to assess the person or people he is addressing. He basically stated that this is because this is a field of academia, and many people simply cannot ascertain a discussion, particularly on an academic level, to be able to digest whatever information you have for them.

And this nutjob in this video is a perfect example. If I were to respond to this crackpot, would simply go in one ear and out the other and having no regard to the knowledge based evidences given therein.

Secondly, for all of you brothers and sisters

it was the path of the Imaams that they would have no regard for the sufaha (fools). I remember Shaykh Muqbil stated something about this regarding some of his detractors. He said "Am I to throw a rock at every dog I come across, all the rocks of Yemen would be usurped"

let the fools say what they say.

well inshalah I think I plan to make a side market for Islamic-life specifically on audio or video responses in refutation to somewhat credible people, and not some joe funk like this luny tune in this thread who yaps on about his delusional views.

I would like to do both inter-Islamic polemics an of course outer-islamic responses to kuffar.
