I know this would require entire volumes for it to be properly explained, but I would appreciate it if you'd share with me just a website, weblink, article or anything which would help me understand just how we can make muslims follow the salaf way without spilling into civil war and mass chaos. There are a billion+ muslims, and probably thousands of differing opinions, and Im sure hundreds of millions hold views of such contradiction to the sunnah that they are probably guilty of apostasy.....but how can we correct them without waging war against them? (ex. Extreme modernists, Quran only groups, those understanding-islam website folks, shiahs, etc etc) Could we exclude them from our state or could we include them as citizens or what? :P Im sorry , I know this is a massive topic, this is why I dont want an explanation from you because it would be way too much headache, but just a link or something, this is one of the last confusions I have regarding the possibility of an islamic state.

my dear brother, it does not take a website to do this. everyone is on various levels.

the most basic level, and the easiest, is level 1.

level 1. = the masses of muslims for the most part are on the level that they do not desire hellfire or kufr. With that being stated, the only articulative stance that we take with such people is to remind them of the importance of following the way of our salaf, in this case our dawah to these people is one of tarheeb wa targheeb (exhortation and warning) and is done through tasfiyyah wa tarbiyyah (purification and cultivation) which is to purify the muslims from alien ideas and render it back to its point of origin and to cultivate the muslims, as a replacement to their previous ideas, upon a correct understanding of Islam and how it was meant to be understood.

level 2, is a bit harder because these people include innovators and people who take it upon themselves to either articulate or to defend these alien concepts within the framework of islam and thereby argue for how it is in sync with Islam. With these people, it requires more knowledge, wisdom, and a special taste in how, what, or when to articulate our viewpoint.

level 3= these are the antagonist of Islam which include extreme innovators (whose innovation has entailed kufr) and the generality of the advocates of kufr and this includes Islamaphobes.

level 4= the apostates of Islam, people like Ali Sina and Ayaan Hirsi, people whose brains were already fried when they were in a deviant way of Islam, and have now been fully charcoaled into an abyss of anti-Islamic hysteria.

the people of level 1 outnumber level 2 about a thousand to 1. likewise the people of level 2 outnumber level 3 about a thousand to one, and so forth.
