| Re: Funny seeming Laws around the world? asalam alykum An example today in the UK is that its illegal to keep chickens unless u have a license. That might sound shocking to some, but the context is because the houses in the UK are small and cant contain animals like that, and probably because the male chicken makes a noise in the mornings before 6am (you're not allowed to do that either [i.e. sound a car horn before then, or do azan before then publically, since it disturbs peoples sleep).
