Salaams and thanks for having me here <3

I was very happy to find this place -- there are a lot of Muslim themed message boards on the net, but some of them you go to and there is just a dead link or something. Anyways, here I am and let me tell you something about myself, a little.

I am a revert sister, here with the Ummah for 8 years !! <3

I am always looking for a way to be true to my faith, and yet incorporate the things that are halal and okay of the Western World into that. I like finding the joy in things, and my great happiness is my wonderful husband of almost 30 years!

One more thing, and this is not spam, lol, or it isnt intended to be, but how many of you sisters would want to get Avon from another sister, if you could???

A dear friend of mine just is setting up her site, and she is going to be selling in the next couple weeks. She already has some neat stuff clothing wise, but her main focus will be the beauty stuff (( and Avon will have things for guys too! ))

I just wanted to spread the word a little ( again, NOT intended as spam!! )) -- to help her some, she is trying to support herself and is a little worried about making it. And Allah knows best ...

if you ladies that might be interested soon would register there, it would really boost her morale!!!

I told her that there is a place for this, and for her, and with Allah's help she will make it!!

well I will take a look around the forum now, and hopefully I can be a productive member here ( I will try!! ) -- I have lots of links for the ladies to hijab places I have found over the years, too!

I was really worried about even mentioning it but Allah gave me the strength to do so (I am very shy )
