| Windows Movie Maker..?!  ...I made this video some time ago..lol my first ever video :o I know its not as advanced and cool looking as many brothers and sisters make them (Masha'Allah!)..but yeh thought I'd try my Windows Movie Maker thing out and ended up uploading it on Youtube as well...hmm..so does anyone know how to work it? add titles with effects and basically use the software more..technically/effectively :confused: if that even makes any sense :/ - I'd like to make better vid's when I have the time to Insha'Allah :) My First Video. Islam Came To Spread Peace - Nasheed edit: I know quite a lame video..*embarrassed* lol any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated... Jazak'Allahu Khayran! wa'Salams. |

|  Thats okay. Only thing is, its just pictures. No real benefit can be derived, but then again, its just a nasheed so masha'Allah not bad. After your effort, i decided to crack at my first vid...its bad... :o  YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.but i did it for iDawah so :rolleyes: And i learnt some accidental cool tricks, i didnt implement them, but i might start making vids... | Only thing I'd ask about that video is, if you have Qur'an and people are reading your writing, wont they be kinda not paying attention to the Qur'an? Like I found myself laughin, at the 'ipod..' thing, then remembered Qur'an was playing. |

Maybe a nasheed for the 'background' sound would be better..and so your not totally irrespective of the actual nasheed as well it can be something related to the message ur trying to get across? edit: maybe something like Zain Bhikha's Cloud of Islam Nasheed? :o (bad example) | |

Such are they who are successful. (104) But i do get what you mean though... Yeah, i dont really have time for this video-making, but still, its pretty good masha'Allah. As for the texts, that bit was simple, your using Windows Movie Maker yeah? so: > On the left, Category 2 " Edit Movie" > Click Make titles or credits. >Then Select where >Then underneath the text box "Change the title animation" > Then select from the list which one you want, some are decent... > Click Done. Simple... There are some extra cool tricks you might have to accidentally discover, im not going to attempt to explain, because it would be about 5 paragraphs, and id probably just confuse people...you just have to fiddle around with stuff...and try to make it look more like a video than a slideshow lol [Like mine]

| lol Jazak'Allahu Khayran, and yeah I can see why that beautiful Ayah may be used as its kinda related... Yeah, Windows Media Player, lol well I went away and kinda made another lil video :o but I've noticed that its quite difficult/tricky to get the speed right when using text in your video, you've got to make sure that its readable not zooming fast :p another thing, when using a combination of text and images, you've got to make sure the text colour is visible/clear too. I decided I'd use the same 'theme' with a consistent text colour and an effect, so I've not really explored/used the other effects, another lame attempt I guess..here it is: Dead Hearts edit: just watched it, the writing is hardly readable :/ lol if you still think the writing is quite fast, I'll use the Nasheed as an excuse lol as I wanted the Nasheed to finish the same time as the text had finished conveying the message I wanted to get accross. anyhoo, I think I should get revising so.. :D |

| lol, Masha'Allah, That was amazing! Thats in another league compared to the other one, and mine, good stuff... You know that you can extend the length of some clips, by dragging the box at the bottom across...that should solve the speed problem you mentioned [if any]... :wasalam:
