The prophet Muhammad had shown three types of miracles during his prophesy. They have been categorized as: Rational, physical and intuitive. The best example for the first kind is the Qur?an, because It is a great and eternal miracle which addresses to sane person of every era, amazing, invincible, great and eternal miracle: ''And if you are in doubt as to that which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a chapter similar to it and call on your witnesses (and prove this) besides Allah if you are truthful.'' (al- aqara, 2/23) A hadith of the Prophet says: ''Every prophet has been given a miracle which the people of the age believed in it. The miracle given to me is what God has revealed to me.'' {Bukh?r?, I'tis?m}

As physical miracle; the prophet's prophetic seal, the splitting up of the Moon into two pieces, flowing water from his fingers, during a banquet when he was wanted to be poisoned he was informed the poisonous food, he heard the moaning of date-palm stump. Intuitive miracles are: The Prophet?s conquest of Makka, his calling people for Islam, and his explanations and warnings about the wars might be given examples of such.
