capacity to produce knowledge.

universities.

o In USA alone, 5,758 universities

o In India alone, 8,407 universities

o Not one university in the entire Islamic World features in the Top
500 Ranking Universities of the World

o Literacy in the Christian World 90%

o Literacy in the Muslim World 40%

o 15 Christian majority-countries, literacy rate 100%

o Muslim majority - countries , None

o 98% in Christian countries completed primary

o Only 50% in Muslim countries completed primary.

Interesting, but sad, information! You said in Egypt there's only 20 book titles per 1 million people. Does that mean there's less than 2,000 books in Egypt per year or what? What about Universities? :confused:

This means that in Egypt for the 1000 people there are only 20 books titles to read i.e. 20 books no different topics etc. This shows the lack of demand for books and its supply.

We should remember that Europe before Industrialisation was even a worst place.But after that it acquired knowledge base. Every nation has its time and the Muslims nation also have its time. We are working towards the right way.

This is infact a problem , the reason any person say would be inclined towards the Western culture or the religion prevailing over there would be because he would be extremely impressed by them but Alhamdulillah the entire west is turning to Islam as people have learnt to differentiate between Religion with Culture or Economical status.

Yes the world leadership is getting Jews on the top but we shouldnt forget that there was a guy named Pharoh who was once the leader who started to call himself god and was all powerful over everyone but there was just one man , Prophet Moses ( may Allah Praise him ) who bought justice and the executed the plan of Allah SWT and the godly pharoh was humiliated and was drown in the sea!

I agree with u wut u say but there are many other reason why are we failing. How many muslim prays 5 times a day. Can u recall 100 people in ur mind dat u know for sure they pray 5 times a day. I m just saying 100 people out of so many u know. How many pray in jamiat. Tell me one islamic country which practice proper sahria. Tell me one islamic country which doesnt oppress their people. Tell me one islamic country which have proper running govt is last 30 years.
Pakistan in last 60 years we had 4 times mililtary coup. If u combine all of them they make 36 years of military coup out of 60 years thats more than 50%.
Egypt the last ruler is still in power which came to power in 1982 he is in power for 26 years.
So many examples.
Yes for sure we muslim are lacking knowledge but we left Qur'an and sunnah and sunnah of kalifah rashidudin.
One jew told Egpytian Leader Hussini Mubarak that u muslim when u use to talk, pray and pay( fighting in way of ALLAH) that jew said u ruled us and we use to pay jaziyah. But today u muslim still talk and pray but u dont pay thats y we are ruling u.
And onother big problem is nationalism my nation ur nation. My flag ur flag. Islam came to destroy this but Nationalism is so strong in muslim countries even stronger than west. Another problem Tribilism. Knowledge plays a big role to remove these things.
How u gonna spread knowledge. One example i witness from my own eyes. In my village i asked my Grandfather y isnt there school in village he said there was but nobody came because farmers say that they not gonna get job so whats the point of studying. The arugument is valid. how are we gonna resolve this issue. If tomarrow pakistan annouces we will open 100 new universities. Will that be beneficial when base isnt even strong. When u not gonna bring those poor people in education there is no future. Mostly pakistan population is poor.
Our education curcillum is messed up because we are still following the one which was brought by Bristish colonize power. We are still following that. In islamiat all we learned was 3 wars in islam hud, badr and kahdak. Nothing mention of rights, nothing mention of politics etc.
