| Assalamu'alaikum,:) Alhamdulilah with the will of Allah(swt) i embarked on a amazing journey to Hajj. I have written a beautiful poem to express my desire to return to Madinah al Munwarah and Makkah Al Mukurrmah again insha'Allah. Farewell Tawaf In Despair I gradually walked circling the ka’abah. I gazed at the glittering sky. In grace it showered with rahma, sakoon and washed away my sins. My tears rolled and steadily dropped on the shining marble floor. Oh Allah return me here, as I supplicate to you with filled awe and my heart in tenderness. It felt cold and gloom of hopeless sigh, In fear of departing to the dunya and being trapped in the lust of the worldly pleasure. I desire to capture this heart aching noor in my lost spirit and be absent from the whispers of the Satan. Oh Allah when I return to the dunya, let my breath be occupied in remembering you ‘La ilaha illalah, Muhammadur Rasullulah.’ The gentle wind passed through, my flowing jilbab touched the ground and the moon shone in delight. My soaked hijab from my tears tucked under my neck. In silence I firmly held my tasbeeh and called your name, leaving the luminosity of this dunya. Oh my creator, oh Allah bestow your forgiveness upon the Ummah. I recited ‘Bismillahi wallahu akbar’, facing and pointing my hand at the glowing black stone. My heart trembled in sorrow, the blood flow rushed and my breath stopped. My eyes widened the kohl smudged in tears. I drowned in sadness as I left the sight of the striking Ka’abah engraved in my heart. Oh Allah I glorify and praise the bounty of you in remembrance like in the talbiyyah. Oh Allah I seek your path and walking in obedience to you just like in tawaf. Oh Allah you are Ar-Rahim, Al-Karim hear my du’a, None other then you will listen to my plea. As I yearn and long for your call to arrive in Makkah and Madinah tun Nabi until my last breath escapes from my lip. ![]() wasalam |

| Inshallah do share more pix sis, maybe i can add them to my collection :) as for the poem, it is nice mashallah. I liked it and think those who have been there would understand it more and connect with it more than those who haven't had the opportunity yet to visit.
