Hi

Our belief is that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the chosen Prophet who is the most similar to Moses, according to the previous revelations. He is the Prophet who has come for all of mankind till the Day of Judgement, whereas previously all other Prophets came to their nations only for that time period.

Without a doubt, we believe Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be the final Messenger of God because we believe in the Qur'an as true revelation from God. Since God chose Muhammad (peace be upon him) to be the final Messenger who confirmed what came before, He also honored him the most due to that. The Messenger who would be aided by the other Messengers' if he were to come amongst them during their life times (according to the Qur'an 3: 81.)

So our belief in the Qur'an makes us believe this. :)

Hey Vicky,

We also believe that Muhammad was the seal of the prophets in that he was the last prophet and Messenger of God, no more will come after him and that is one distinction, the idea that he is the last guide and Messenger sent by Allah. He was sent with the Qur'an which has been left undistorted; unlike the books of jesus, moses and david.

As brother Qatada said, prophet Muhammad came for the whole of mankind as did the message he came with, it is universal and for all Muslims whereas the prophets of previous books/scriptures came only for a certain people.

Peace Out....
