I understand now.

Yes. Brother Ayman is of great hepl. But these questions I want a fatwa from Islamic qa or from a Salafi scholar. Because personal cases are rare and I don't want a ruling by a shaikh's view rather from a view of the ulma, if you know what I mean.
Otherwise I'll feel as if I'm sinning my whole life and I would feel helpless.

The general ruling regarding attending co-ed. institutions is that they are haraam. However, it is permissible for those who have no other choice and have to financially support themselves and their family. The exception is generally applicable to brothers but if some sisters also fall into this category then it could also be applied to them. and Allah knows best
I have many alternatives though.......

Anyways, I'll try and PM the shikh in Saudia Arabia. If you have a PM of a Saudi shaikh, please share.

Sister, it is not up to us to refuse the correct rulings of Islam that are supported by evidence. Rejection of halal is as wrong and bad as involving in haram.

Awra is an Arabic word which means a part of a person's body that is sinful to expose. By that definition the voice is NOT a awra and there is no Islamic evidence to make it so.

What I am trying to stress on here is that for example "A man should not touch a woman" cannot be translated to "a man's hand is a awra when he's touching a woman", so speaking in a certain inticing way, while being a sin, does not make the voice a awra.

The Sunnah provides evidence that women of companions spoke in public and spoke to non-mahram men in public in matters of trading, scholarly knowledge, or in other issues. If a woman speaks softly and inticingly to a man she has earned a sin and should stop and revert back to regular speaking, not completely stop talking because her voice "turned" to awra.

Hope this clarifies sister.

I don't get it. Can you be more informative please? How do I know what is enticing to some? What if it is our character, manner, way, etc... attractive to some?

The letter of the verse is "do not be submissive soft-spoken in voice, or he with a disease in his heart will be inticed to desire (you), but speak in a kindly fashion"

The soft-spoken voice is basically the feminine weapon of choice when either they want to get something out of a man. Scholars have agreed that any seductive tone or softness in voice is inticing, as well as any suggestive words or flirtatious behaviour.

JAzzakAllahu Khayr

My point is that what if men like women for their character(not necessarily soft kind), inteligence, ignorance, innocence, behavior etc...

Wouldn't it be better to be harsh in this case? Some like women who are harsh
though. "Men want what they can't get."

P.S. I apologize if my statements aren't modest. This I need.

Liking a woman for her character, does not create a sexual physical attraction. However a soft voice can be physically attractive AS WELL AS might be construed by him as flirting or an invitation to advance.

Women should though, knowing their own individual selves, to guard their modesty against exposing whatever gifts or blessings they have that may be physically inticing to men, whatever they may be.
