Why is it that most of my non-native (to America) brothers and sisters spell color as colour.

^that is indeed a very deep question. Let me think, hmmmm ....... bec. we are not Americans :D.

In Canada, many of the spelling is still following British because we are under them. Other reason is that many of us come from British schooling as the secular schooling system in many Muslim countries is still British based.

off topic, but there you go :P... I will try to use more Americanized form if that makes you happy akhee, lol. COLOR :D

The brother of her husband told her to tell me to ask my imam about the hadeeth for the statement women to cover hair upon hearing name of Allah SUT (!?) no effort or soever to find out the truth..
He said the hadeeths are so much and he personally doesn't know.

I asked her to question him if women need hijaab when saying Bismillah or Ustaqfil-Allah?I want to see his face when she ask him............^

ok,new surprise: her NON-MUSLIM mother died few days ago and the Pakistani family made KIR for her memory and DU'A for her .

Is that form Islam?

I was looking for the hadith I posted above and subhaanAllah I just realized my mistake in post # 16.

I missed non-Muslim part there. Jazak Allah khayran ukht for correcting me. We can't make dua'a for dead kafir. and Allah knows best
