Default Hesitation in doing DAWAH!!

As salaamu alaykum wa rahmutallahi wa barkatuhu

All praise be Allah SWT and peace and blessings be upon Prophet Muhammad...

I really want to do daawah for Allah's sake... i stay in an area where grave worship is highly prevalent and most of the members of my family and almost complete neighbourhood is involved in it.. it kinda hurts... but i donno how to give dawaah to them i am kinda introvert... i just dont get the courage to speak... May Allah help me and all.... or sometimes i know what to say but it just doesnt come out at the right time or i back off telling myself that ill do next time..and fall in to the trap of Iblees... I am very confused as to how i should start and go about it?? I am not a speaker nor have decent presentation skills... i am complete newbie and got stage fear and just cant speak in front of ppl.... i can write but when it comes to speaking i just cant...

Please give some advice.. and May Allah SWT cause us to give Daawah and become caller to truth with hikmah and evidence only for His sake...!!

brother, may Allah preserve you, there are few things which you need to remember:

1 - You need to learn about tawheed and tafsir of the ayaat related to tawheed

2 - You should be gentle and kind and should not rush or give up. Do not resort to labels (calling them mushrik); softening the heart is the key to gain their trust and making them listen to you and accept haqq

3 - Make lots of dua'a and stay away from sins

4 - First start with your family; use means like studying the Qur'an together (meaning and tafsir) with your family or listening to lectures or reading books by scholars of Ahlus Sunnah. If some scholars are taboo to them like (Shaykh Ibn Taymiyyah or Abdul Wahab - may Allah have mercy on them), then refer to other scholars' works which they may prefer and trust. Or what you could do is write down the ayaat, ahdith and explanation mentioned by our scholars on this topic and then go over those without having to mention the names of those scholars who they may not trust or like.

I hope this helps insha'Allah; May Allah give you wisdom and strength to achieve your goal, ameen

Talking to elders about such issue is kinda hard sometimes

I know what you mean brother, they will look down to you and say how come a young man try to lecture us.
I had the same experience with some people I know, and I got the same comments from them.

the best thing to do is not start talking about such religious issue when they are talking about something else. You can try to merge such topics on your daily conversations so they will not notice that you are lecturing them. Try to make it more like a normal discussion where you all sitting together and share knowledge.
that will be easier inshaAllah on you

May Allah make things easy on you and grant you patience and guide you and your family to the right path

Hmm we dont stay in a joint family just nearby in a neighbourhood everyone staying in their houses... so the only way to talk to them is to go to their place .....and just donno how to start the topic... and i fear Allah SWT will say on the day of judgement i had given you knowledge why didnt u convey it to others... and others may file a case against me in front of Allah SWT and i will have nothing to say....
