I think I found the issue with the Multaqa ahlul-hadeeth forum. when you go to the main link which is this

http://www.ahlalhdeeth.com/vbe/index.php

then the following appears on the screen

What is the Zend Optimizer?

The Zend Optimizer is one of the most popular PHP plugins for performance-improvement, and has been available without charge, since the early days of PHP 4. It improves performance by scanning PHP's intermediate code and passing it through multiple Optimization Passes to replace inefficient code patterns with more efficient code blocks. The replaced code blocks perform exactly the same operations as the original code, only faster.
In addition to improving performance, the Zend Optimizer also enables PHP to transparently load files encoded by the Zend Guard.
The Zend Optimizer is a free product available for download from Zend Technologies. Zend Technologies also developed the PHP scripting engine, known as the Zend Engine.

What I did was download the send optimizer package and installed it. The problem is is that I don't know how to use the very thing I installed. I thought that by installing it then it would by default update my browser to be able to access their new php bida that they came up with.

Can you inform me of the specific nature of how this feature is suppose to work inshallah?

quick response akhee, this suppose to be installed on the server where Multaqa is hosted. Installing on your computer isn't gonna do anything, becuase this is not an issue with browser or your computer. So, this should be sorted out by Shaykh Haitham with hosting company. wa barak Allahu feeka

^yeh, good try though.

It seems a really strange error to me because Arabic Multaqa is working fine and it isn't that the domain is different. It is just a different directory and Arabic Multaqa is also VB (vBulletin) forum. If it was Zend installation issue then Arabic Multaqa shouldn't be working either. In addition, VB files are not encrypted/encoded; so, I don't know why it is looking for Zend. I can't pin piont the issue; Allahu A'alam

Why Multaqa ahlalhdeeth is down more frequently recently? This have been happening more in the last few months!

I can't access it now, neither the Arabic nor the English one..is it the same for people here too?

I started with multaqa but most of the time mutaqa is down I switched to IB and IL

Does it have discussion about hajj ?
Hajj handling and organizing should be discussed internationaly.
