How should we change the layout of the forum?

I think it looks too 'disordered' and unorganised (for example seerah and islamic history should be one section etc.)

So i want your advice on what sections we should have, and what order the already existant ones should be in, and if any should be deleted.

Then if bro abu ghurabah isn't busy, he can sort em out :D insha Allah.. and it wont be too much problem since alot of people havn't joined yet anyway.

Reduce the number of sections drastically. By more than half. MORE than half.

I wouldnt agree at all to reduce the number of sections! Infact I find the opposite..However we can re-group the sections and rename them to give a better organization and integration.

I like the current layout.
Yes it's true there are many sections, but our layout should accommodate our sections rather then our sections accommodating our layout. It might be a bit annoying for newcomers to have to go trough the titles to find the appropriate place, but althuogh there are many, I think it's structured pretty descently. As for people who simply can't take the time to read trough the titles, I don't know what they're doing here in the first place :)

i think its okay the way it is, but i think you should add to "manners and purification," manners and purification of the soul, because i think just "purification" could come across as Ghusl/wudo, etc

and the 'help us' section is a little ambiguous. i mean the explanation/purpose of it. either that, or im a little slow *hides*

and also, you should place a link for the 'groups and sects,' under the aqeedah section. it just seems 'hidden' other wise.

I agree with this. Group and Sects is a broad subject and catches much attention and should be placed somewhere on front. However It should be made clear of the sects that they are not of the True Muslims... we can write.

"Groups & Sects attributed to Islam" .. "Groups & Dects Deviant from Islam" etc.

Can you guys change the setting of forums as to when there is a newest post it should be at the last end of the pages and not the first page?

^I think that would make the accessibility hard for lots of users because everyone is used to the newest post threads on the top. However, if you like it the other way (as you suggested) then you can always change the sorting using the options at the bottom of the page: "Display Options" and change the sort order to "Ascending" and it'll work out for you, insha'Allah
