| Many people claim that what they have is from god, but the question is can they prove it?? therefore, the existence of the god?? If you are looking for certainty in an uncertain world or maybe you just are curious why the Muslims believe what they believe is truth without doubt!! You might say "You sure will claim that Quran is a book of science!! I would reply" hold on guys, I'll try to refer to some of unlimited proofs which it shows that Islam is the truth, therefore that We should worshiped Allah the only one god and he does existed. I'm going to proof that Islam is the truth as a message as well as the last religion.!! You may ask,What's the difference?? be clarified later. So,I'm going to point out these proofs and answer the common misconceptions that :- 1- prophet Mohammad might be a liar. 2- prophet Mohammad copied the Quran from injeal and Torah!! 3-Prophet Mohammad had learned from Greek!! 4- logic proofs. 5- finally,I'll refer to some of the unlimited proofs involving (Islam as a message as well as the last religion from god)that it is the truth. Be continued.. ____ Intro:- Term "Islam" when it is used by Muslims? Let me remind everyone: Islam in general: when we say Islam in general, we mean that Allah Ta'ala only revealed one religion to mankind and it started from Adam and ended at Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them). So from beginning till end, it was only one religion, Islam. So, the religion of Adam and eve was Islam, why?? When god created Adam and eve, and put them in the garden, he gave them one basic purpose (to worship god by obeying him)so they are applied to submit their wills to accept god commands, now submission to one's will to god in Arabic is called ISLAM. And this message is the same message of all prophets, I.e to worship god alone. Allah says in Quran chapter3, [79] It is not (possible) that a man, to whom is given the Book, and Wisdom, and the Prophetic office, should say to people: "Be ye my worshippers rather than Allah's": on the contrary (he would say): "Be ye worshippers of Him Who is truly the Cherisher of all: for ye have taught the Book and ye have studied it earnestly." [80] Nor would he instruct you to take angels and Prophets for Lords and Patrons. What! would he bid you to unbelief after ye have bowed your will (to Allah in Islam)? [81] Behold! Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: "I give you a Book and Wisdom; then comes to you a Messenger, confirming what is with you; do you believe him and render him help." Allah said: "Do ye agree, and take this my Covenant as binding on you?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses." So, the message of all prophets should be the same message as well as Allah will support the true prophets and won't debunk their claim as he did with the false people, how?? Allah will support them with miracles and bestow upon them a sign, so all those prophets have miracles and proofs show they are real messengers from Allah. But the Question is, had you seen these miracles and proofs of those prophets?? The answer would be, of course no, but if we observe the proofs and the evidences of one of our prophets, it's surely will consider as a proof and evidence for the others, so it's exactly like the chain. Allaah says: “Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allaah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Ibraaheem (Abraham), Ismaa’eel (Ishmael), Ishaaq (Isaac), Ya’qoob (Jacob), and to Al-Asbaat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya’qoob (Jacob)], and that which has been given to Moosa (Moses) and ‘Eesa (Jesus), and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)” [al-Baqarah 2:136] “Verily, We have sent the Revelation to you (O Muhammad) as We sent the Revelation to Nooh (Noah) and the Prophets after him; We (also) sent the Revelation to Ibraaheem (Abraham), Ismaa’eel (Ishmael), Ishaaq (Isaac), Ya’qoob (Jacob), and Al Asbaat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Ya’qoob (Jacob)], ‘Eesa (Jesus), Ayyoob (Job), Yoonus (Jonah), Haaroon (Aaron), and Sulaymaan (Solomon); and to Dawood (David) We gave the Zaboor (Psalms)” [al-Nisa’ 4:163] And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad) but We revealed to him (saying): Laa ilaaha illa Ana [none has the right to be worshipped but I (Allaah)], so worship Me (Alone and none else)” [al-Anbiya’ 21:25] It must be noted that Muslims have to believe in all shariah of each prophet, so they should believe in the true Christianity as well as the true Judaism. On other words, if we lived during the prophethood of prophet mosses, we had to be Jews, after the death of prophet Moses, Allah reveled to prophet Jesus a new shariah, but both have the same message, so if we lived at this moment, we have to be Christian. After the raising of the prophet Jesus, Allah reveled to the final prophet Mohammad another shariah, which is fit to our life nowadays, so we have to be Muslims. What are the miracles of those prophets -peace and blessing upon them-briefly?? I'm going to mention some of theses miracles. For the mountains glorified Allaah along with Dawood (David – peace be upon him), The sea was parted for Moosa (Moses – peace be upon him) Allaah showed him some of the miracles. He commanded him to throw his stick on the ground, and it turned into a snake; then to put his hand into his garment, and it came out white. Allaah flooded the earth in response to the supplication of Nooh (Noah – peace be upon him) Miracle of jesus( peace and blessing upon him) Allah says in chapter 5, Verse[110] Then will Allah say: "O 'Isa the son of Maryam! recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel. And behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it, and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind, and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! thou bringest forth the dead by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the Clear Signs, and the Unbelievers among them said: `This is nothing but evident magic.' Islam in specific: when we say Islam in specific then we refer to Islam revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) 1400 years ago. And Allaah protect his miracle from being lost or distorted (to be evidence for us) and I'm going to show the evidences. Inshallah. If any one has a Question about what I've mentioned, please feel free to ask. Now,I'm going to start the main point in this thread. The answer of the common Questions and the proofs of Islam is truth. Be continued.. ---------- Post added at 11:11 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:09 PM ---------- Answering common Questions have relevant to the topic:- 1-Was Mohammad a Liar? (This Question very very old). The answer is without any doubt:NO,Why?? Is it possible for a liar to claim for a period of 23 years with unwavering certitude that he is a prophet like Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, that there will be no more prophets after him, and that the scripture he has been sent with will remain his lasting miracle till the end of time? A liar will falter sometimes, perhaps with a friend, maybe with his family members, somewhere he will make a mistake. His message, delivered over two decades, will contradict itself sometimes. But what we see in reality is that the scripture he brought declares freedom from internal inconsistencies, his message remained consistent throughout his mission, and even in the midst of a battle, he proclaimed his prophethood![1] His life story is preserved book open for everyone to read. Before Islam, he was well-known to his own people to be trustworthy and reliable, an honest man, a person of integrity, who did not lie.[2] It was due to this reason they named him “Al-Ameen”, or “The Trustworthy” He was strongly opposed to lying and warned against it. Is it possible for him to tell a consistent lie for 23 years, a lie so monstrous that it would make him a social outcast, when he was never known to have lied even once about anything? It’s simply against the psychology of liars. If one was to ask why a person would make claim to prophethood and lie, their answer might be one of two: 1) Fame, Glory, wealth and status. 2) Moral progress. If we were to say that the Muhammad claimed prophethood for fame glory and status, we would see that what actually occurred was the exact opposite. Muhammad, before his claim to Prophethood, enjoyed a high status in all aspects” He was of the most noble of tribes, of the most noble of families, and was known for his truthfulness. After his claim, he became a social outcast. For 13 years in Makkah, he and his followers faced excruciating torture, which led to the death of some of his followers, ridicule, sanctioning, and excommunication from society. There were many other ways which a person could gain fame in the society of that time, mainly from valor, and poetry. If Muhammad had made the claim that he himself authored the Quran, as will be explained later, that would have been enough for his name and poetry to be engraved in gold and hung inside the Ka’bah for eternity, people from all over the world hallowing him. Rather, he proclaimed that he was not the author of his revelationa, and that it was from the One high above, causing him to be ridiculed in his time until ours. The Prophet was the husband of a wealthy tradeswoman, and he enjoyed the comforts of life available t him at his time. But after his claim of prophethood, he became of the poorest of people. Days passed without stove fire being lit in his house, and at one time, hunger drove him to the mosque in hope of some provision. The leaders of Makkah in his time offered him the riches of the world in order for him to leave his message. As a response to their offer, he recited the verses of the Quran 41:1-38.11. The Following are some of these verses: “(As for) those who say: ‘Our Lord is God,’ and, further, stand straight and steadfast, the angels descend upon them, saying: ‘Fear not, nor be grieved, and receive good news of the garden which you were promised. We are your guardians in this world's life and in the hereafter, and you shall have therein what your souls desire and you shall have therein what you ask for. A hospitable gift from one Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful!’ And who is better in speech than one who calls to God, works righteousness, and says, ‘I am of those who has submitted in Islam?’ Nor can goodness and evil be equal. Repel (evil) with what is better: Then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate. And no one will be granted such goodness except those who exercise patience and self-restraint,- none but persons of the greatest good fortune.” (Quran 41:30-35) If one were to say that Muhammad lied and claimed prophethood in order to bring moral and religious reform to a society ridden with ills, this argument is futile in itself, for how can one bring moral reform through a lie. If Muhammad was so keen to uphold and preach upright morals and worship of One God, then could he have lied himself in doing so? If we say that this is not possible, the only answer is that he was speaking the truth. I would reply "If he is a liar, why he wouldn't accept the offers!! I mean Quraysh tried barraging, first, with Abu-Taleb, the Prophet’s uncle but the prophet said to them “ By Allah , If they put the sun on my right and the moon on my left to leave this matter , I would not do until Allah shows me otherwise or I die trying for its sake “. They also offered money , prestige , power or marriage to the prettiest girl in Makkah if that was what the Prophet could be aiming at by his message. He even offered to provide medical treatment for what ever was ailing the Prophet (P.B.U.H) and making him propagate for his new belief. the Prophet answers “…. Say, "Surely I am only a mortal like you.To me it is revealed that your God is only One God , so go straight to Him and ask for His forgiveness ….” (TMQ 41: 1-13) " 2- Prophet Mohammad copied the Quran from injeal and Torah!! No,Why?? Check this up. Da'wah Training Programme 3-Prophet Mohammad had learned from Greek!! This Question is really ridiculous Question, because it's clear that at the prophet time, there weren't discovered microscope nor Telescope as well as they are many discoverers which have discovered recently. (You won't understand what i mean, tell you read our proofs). moreover, just one example can beat off this claim. here you are. 4- logic proofs. Just one example:- "Is there any proof that God exists?" was asked, by an atheist, of Imam Abu Hanifa and he replied, "Forget it! At the moment, I am busy thinking about this ship. People tell me there is a big ship, it contains different goods on board. There is no one to steer it, no one maintaining it. Yet, this ship keeps going back and forth; it even traverses big waves on the oceans; it stops at the locations that it is supposed to stop at; it continues in the direction that it is supposed to head. This ship has no captain and no one planning its trips." The atheist who posed the question interrupted and exclaimed, "What kind of strange and silly thought is this? How can any intelligent person think that some thing like this can occur?" Imam Abu Hanifa said, "I feel sorry about your state! You cannot imagine one ship running without some one looking after its affairs. Yet you think that for this whole world(1), which runs exactly and precisely, there is no one who looks after it, and no one owns it." Think about the brain: how it thinks, functions, analyzes, retrieves and stores information, as well as distinguishes and categorizes information in a millionth of a second, all of this constantly. Think about the Reduction division mitosis or miosis. Allah says in chapter 51, "[21] As also in your own selves: will ye not then see?" “We will show them our signs in the furthest regions (of the earth) and in their souls, until it becomes clear to them that this is the truth…” (Quran 41:53) God mentions Prophet Abraham’s quest for God as an example of how those who follow His signs will be rightly guided: “So also did we show Abraham the power and the Laws of the heavens and the earth that he might (with understanding) have certitude. When the night covered him over, he saw a star. He said: ‘This is my Lord.’ But when it set, he said: ‘I love not those that set.’ When he saw the moon rising in splendor, he said: ‘This is my Lord.’ But when the moon set, he said: ‘Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among those who go astray.’ When he saw the rising sun in splendor, he said: ‘This is my Lord, this is the greatest (of all).’ But when the sun set, he said: ‘O my people! I am indeed free from your (guilt) of giving partners to God. For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to God.” (Quran 6:75-79) For more logical proofs,(1) Islam Question and Answer - People have evidence of the existence of God, and the wisdom behind His creation or this website, The Purpose of Life by Khalid Yaseen , Does Life Has a Purpuse? 5-The Proof That Islam Is The Truth, therefore that God exists. Since the early scholars till our modern-life, there are a loads of books have been compiling by scholars to show the proof of Islam, how come?? Because in each year, there are many discovers and facts happened which shows the accuracy of the Quran and it's impossible to be wrote by a man. We have many sections of proofs which are involving many examples; 1- Historical facts. 2-Embryology 3-Prophecies Of The Prophet (PBUH) 4- The Miracles of prophet mohammad. 5-Scientific Facts In The Qur'an including:- A-ASTRONOMY B-GEOLOGY C-BIOLOGY.. And others.. 6-Witness Of The People Of The Book 7-Signs Of The Last Day . Then,I'll refer to other proofs, such as:- Stories Of Those Who Heard The Qur'an. The Miracle Of The Arabic Language . Preservation Of The Qur'an Oral Transmission Of The Qur'an The Preservation of The Sayings of The Prophet (PBUH). *And there are also a proof,do you know what?? Asking god to guide you to the truth".:) Let's begin the conversation, The first section is the (Historical facts). http://www.youtubeislam.com/video/61...Facts--ARGreen ---------- Post added at 11:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:11 PM ---------- Historical facts:- 1-The Quran states pharaoh was drowned in the Red Sea while chasing after Moses and Allah said He would preserve Pharaoh as a sign for the future. Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book*1*, "Bible, Quran and Science" makes it clear this has happened and the very person of Pharaoh has been discovered in Egypt and is now on display for all to see. This event took place thousands of years before Muhammad (peace be upon him) and it came true in the last few decades, many centuries after his death. ![]() So,how did the prophet know this info for more 1400 years old,if he is not a prophet from the well-kowing Allah??!! *1* Dr.Maurice said in his book. ![]() "The Pharaoh A third point of comparison, which is extremely significant, is the story of Moses, and especially the Exodus from Egypt of the Hebrews. Here I can only give a highly compressed account of a study on this subject that appears in my book. I have noted the points where the Biblical and Qur’anic narrations agree and disagree, and I have found points where the two texts complement each other in a very useful way. Among the many hypotheses, concerning the historical time-frame occupied by the Exodus in the history of the pharaohs, I have concluded that the most likely is the theory which makes Merneptah, Ramesses II’s successor, the pharaoh of the Exodus. The comparison of the data contained in the Scriptures with archeological evidence strongly supports this hypothesis. I am pleased to be able to say that the Biblical narration contributes weighty evidence leading us to situate Moses in the history of the pharaohs. Moses was probably born during the reign of Ramesses II. Biblical data. are therefore of considerable historical value in the story of Moses. A medical study of the mummy of Merneptah has yielded further useful information on the possible causes of this pharaoh’s death. The fact that we possess the mummy of this pharaoh is one of paramount importance. The Bible records that pharaoh was engulfed in the sea, but does not give any details as to what subsequently became of his corpse. The Qur’an, in chapter Yoonus, notes that the body of the pharaoh would be saved from the waters: “Today I will save your dead body so that you may be a sign for those who come after you.” Qur’an, 10:92 A medical examination of this mummy, has, shown that the body could not have stayed in the water for long, because it does not show signs of deterioration due to prolonged submersion. Here again, the comparison between the narration in the Qur’an and the data provided by modern knowledge does not give rise to the slightest objection from a scientific point of view. Such points of agreement are characteristic of the Qur’anic revelation. But, are we throwing the Judeo-Christian revelation into discredit and depriving it of all its intrinsic value by stressing the faults as seen from a scientific point of view? I think not because the criticism is not aimed at the text as a whole, but only at certain passages. There are parts of the Bible which have an undoubted historical value. I have shown that in my book, The Bible, The Qur’an and Science, where I discuss passages which enable us to locate Moses in time. The main causes which brought about such differences as arise from the comparison between the Holy Scriptures and modern knowledge is known to modern scholars. The Old Testament constitutes a collection of literary works produced in the course of roughly nine centuries and which has undergone many alterations. The part played by men in the actual composition of the texts of the Bible is quite considerable. The Qur’anic revelation, on the other hand, has a history which is radically different. As we have already seen, from the moment it was first commto humans, it was learnt by heart and written down during Muhammad’s own lifetime. It is thanks to this fact that the Qur’an does not pose any problem of authenticity. A totally objective examination of the Qur’an, in the light of modern knowledge, leads us to recognize the agreement between the two, as has already been noted on repeated occasions throughout this presentation. It makes us deem it quite unthinkable for a man of Muhammad’s time to have been the author of such statements, on account of the state of knowledge in his day. Such considerations are part of what gives the Qur’anic revelation its unique place among religious and non-religious texts, and forces the impartial scientist to admit his inability to provide an explanation based solely upon materialistic reasoning. Such facts as I have had the pleasure of exposing to you here, appear to represent a genuine challenge to human explanation leaving only one alternative: the Qur’an is undoubtedly a revelation from God." 2-The story of prophet Noah in Quran. "When the word went forth: "O earth! swallow up thy water and O sky! withhold (thy rain)!" and the water abated and the matter was ended. The Ark rested on Mount Judi and the word went forth: "Away with those who do wrong!" (Qur'an 11:44). So,It rested on Mount Judi, and Quran mentioned a specific name, the recent Archeologist research around the area of mount Judi (In turkey), and on this mount judi a boat-ship which is the exactly the same dimension is the ark of Noah. Now,The bible claims that the Ark rested on Mount Ararat, and there are few problems with the description of the bible...if you are keen to know, watch this video. (I try to just refer to the proofs briefly as my possibility). http://www.youtubeislam.com/video/61...Facts--ARGreen From minutes 4 to 8. ![]() ![]() Lets go to Egypt and see to more amazing historical facts, the Quran mentioned the story of Joseph (Yusuf)and the children of Israel as well. And the story was mentioned in the Quran by way of reminder,by way of teaching to us. And yet, when Quran is talking about historical detail,we find again and again, it's very accurate. What's the proof on these stories,I'll mentioned in in my next post. ---------- Post added at 11:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:14 PM ---------- 4-When Musa came to pharaoh and his followers with Allah's Clear Signs (throw his stick on the ground, and it turned into a snake; then to put his hand into his garment, and it came out white.) they said: "This is nothing but sorcery faked up: never did we hear the like among our fathers of old!" During this conversation between Musa (Moses)-peace and blessing upon him- and Pharaoh, Allah mentioned in Quran that in chapter 40" [36] Fir'aun said: "O Haman! Build me a tower that I may arrive at the ways" [37] "The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the God of Musa: but as far as I am concerned, I think (Musa) is a liar!" thus was made alluring, in Fir'aun's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path; and the plot of Fir'aun led to nothing but perdition (for him). In the debate and the dialogue between Moses and pharaoh, one of thing that Pharaoh said very arrogantly, Lets examine this, Paraoh said haman" he was talking to somebody, particularly and individually. Now some Christian orientalist had pointed out that word haman is a name was given to Bergen ruler 1200 years after the time of the prophet Moses, so they said that prophet mohammad copied the bible, he took some name from the bible and plant it to the time of Moses. 1-we have debunked this claim with details before, secondly, there weren't bible in Arabic at the time of prophet mohammad, the prophet mohammad also, is a illiterate, he couldn't read or write. Who is feeding him these information?? However, it's only recently discover s truly amazing fact, when Napoleon Bonaparte invited Egypt, he sent out various scholars in order to do research, one of them came a cross truly remarkable thing. "Rosetta Stone" The rosetta stone allowed in the first time of thousand of years, hieroglyphic to be deciphered. Rosetta Stone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Some students in Cambridge university -as shiekh Antony green said in this talk -went to some of the dictionary of hieroglyphic terms in order to try and find out if there was such a person such haman in ancient Egypt. Now, because there is a lack of information in English, they did find a book in German. And looking through this book, they came a cross a truly remarkable discover, surely indeed a particular title of a person. And this title is exactly haman. Now, when we look at who is hama, what did this title do?? It was a name of a possession in Egyptian society, and what this possession was?? Haman was a master of people who build the stone. Watch this information in details at the same previous video. 5-Keep in your mind that" the distance between sana'a & mecca is approximately 815 km." besides,The distance between sana'a and mount dayn is 30 km. In the early 7th century, the two most powerful empires at the time were the Byzantine[1] and Persian Empires. In the years 613 - 614 C.E the two Empires went to war, with the Byzantines suffering a severe defeat at the hands of the Persians. Damascus and Jerusalem both fell to the Persian Empire. In the chapter, The Romans, in the Holy Quran, it is stated that the Byzantines had met with a great defeat but would soon gain victory: “The Romans have been defeated in the lowest land, but after their defeat they will soon be victorious. Within three to nine years. The decision of the matter, before and after, is with God.” (Quran 30:2-4) Check the miracle up here. The Victory of the Romans and the Lowest Point on Earth - The Religion of Islam How did the prophet know all these information for more than 1400 years old,Which the recent researches discovered it??? The second proof. 2- Embryology Fertilization, Implantation, Embryo. Scientific knowledge depends upon the gradual advancement of information, we could only know a certain things in scientific terms when something has been studied and observed and examined in course of ability of study and observe and examine something depends largely upon what's available to do that. For example how much could we know about the stars and cosmology, if we don't have access to powerful telescopes?? So, no one even have the possibility of knowing such this information. What am i going to talk about?? Allah says in Quran chapter 39, [6] He created you (all) from a single Person: then created, of like nature, his mate; and He sent down for you eight head of cattle in pairs: He makes you, in the wombs of your mothers, in stages, one after another, in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah, your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)? [7] If ye reject (Allah), truly Allah has no need of you; but He liketh not ingratitude from His Servants: if ye are grateful, He is pleased with you. No bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another. In the End, to your Lord is your Return, when He will tell you the truth of all that ye did (in this life). Embryology in Qur'an Dr.Maurice said" There are a multitude of statements in the Qur’an on the subject of human reproduction which constitute a challenge to the embryologist seeking a human explanation for them. It was only after the birth of the basic sciences which contributed to our knowledge of biology and the invention of the microscope, that humans were able to understand the depth of those Qur’anic statements. It was impossible for a human being living in the early seventh century to have accurately expressed such ideas. There is nothing to indicate that people in the Middle-East and Arabia knew anything more about this subject than people living in Europe or anywhere else. Today, there are many Muslims, possessing a thorough knowledge of the Qur’an and natural sciences, who have recognized the amazing similarity between the verses of the Qur’an dealing with reproduction and modern scientific knowledge. I shall always remember the comment of an eighteen-year-old Muslim, brought up in Saudi Arabia, commenting on a reference to human reproduction as described in the Qur’an. He pointed to the Qur’an and said, “This book provides us with all the essential information on the subject. When I was at school, my teachers used the Qur’an to explain how children were born. Your books on sex-education are a bit late on the scene!” If I were to spend as long on all the details of reproduction contained in the Qur’an, as the subject merits, this pamphlet would become a book. The detailed linguistic and scientific explanations I have given in The Bible, The Qur’an and Science are sufficient for the person who does not speak Arabic nor know much about embryology to be able to understand the meaning of such verses in the light of modern science in more depth. It is especially in the field of embryology that a comparison between the beliefs present at the time of the Qur’an’s revelation and modern scientific data, leaves us amazed at the degree of agreement between the Qur’an’s statements and modern scientific knowledge. Not to mention the total absence of any reference in the Qur’an to the mistaken ideas that were prevalent around the world at the time. Fertilization Let us now isolate, from all these verses, precise ideas concerning the complexity of the semen and the fact that an infinitely small quantity is required to ensure fertilization. In chapter al-Insaan the Qur’an states: “Verily, I created humankind from a small quantity of mingled fluids.” Qur’an, 76:2 The Arabic word nutfah has been translated as "small quantity”. It comes from the verb meaning ‘to dribble, to trickle’ and is used to describe what remains in the bottom of a bucket which has been emptied. The verse correctly implies that fertilization is performed by only a very small volume of liquid. On the other hand, mingled fluids ( amshaaj ) has been understood by early commentators to refer to the mixture of male and female discharges. Modern authors have corrected this view and note that the sperm is made up of various components. When the Qur’an talks of a fertilizing fluid composed of different components, it also informs us that human progeny will be formed from something extracted from this liquid. This is the meaning of the following verse in chapter as-Sajdah: “Then He made [ man’s ] offspring from the essence of a despised fluid.” Qur’an, 32:8 The Arabic word translated by the term ‘essence’ is sulaalah which means ‘something extracted, the best part of a thing’. In whatever way it is translated, it refers to part of a whole. Under normal conditions, only one single cell, spermatozoon, out of over 50 million ejaculated by a man during sexual intercourse will actually penetrate the ovule. Implantation Once the egg has been fertilized in the fallopian tube, it descends to lodge itself inside the uterus. This process is called the ‘implantation of the egg’. Implantation is a result of the development of villosities, which, like roots in the soil, draw nourishment from the wall of the uterus and make the egg literally cling to the womb. The process of implantation is appropriately described in several verses by the word ‘alaq, which is also the title of the chapter in which one of the verses appears: “God fashioned humans from a clinging entity.” Qur’an, 96:2 I do not think there is any reasonable translation of the word ‘alaq other than to use it in its original sense. It is a mistake to speak of a ‘blood clot’ here, which is the term Professor Hamidullah uses in his translation. It is a derivative meaning which is not as appropriate in this context. Embryo The evolution of the embryo inside the maternal uterus is only briefly described, but the description is accurate, because the simple words referring to it correspond exactly to fundamental stages in its growth. This is what we read in a verse from the chapter al-Mu’minoon: “I fashioned the clinging entity into a chewed lump of flesh and I fashioned the chewed flesh into bones and I clothed the bones with intact flesh.” Qur’an, 23:14 The term ‘chewed flesh’ (mudghah) corresponds exactly to the appearance of the embryo at a certain stage in its development. It is known that the bones develop inside this mass and that they are then covered with muscle. This is the meaning of the term ‘intact flesh’ (lahm). The embryo passes through a stage where some parts are in proportion and others out of proportion with what is later to become the individual. This is the obvious meaning of a verse in the chapter al-Hajj, which reads as follows: “I fashioned (humans) a clinging entity, then into a lump of flesh in proportion and out of proportion.” Qur’an, 22:5. Next, we have a reference to the appearance of the senses and internal organs in the chapter as-Sajdah: “... and (God) gave you ears, eyes and hearts.” Qur’an, 32:9 Nothing here contradicts today’s data and, furthermore, none of the mistaken ideas of the time have crept into the Qur’an. Throughout the Middle Ages there were a variety of beliefs about human development based on myths and speculations which continued for several centuries after the period. The most fundamental stage in the history of embryology came in 1651 with Harvey’s statement that “all life initially comes from an egg”. At that time, when science had benefited greatly from the invention of the microscope, people were still arguing about the respective roles of the egg and spermatozoon. Buffon, the great naturalist, was one of those in favor of the egg theory.Bonnet, on the other hand, supported the theory of ‘the ovaries of Eve’, which stated that Eve, the mother of the human race, was-supposed to have had inside her the seeds of all human beings packed together one inside the other. or WATCH THIS AMAZING VIDEO. http://www.youtubeislam.com/video/61...ology--ARGreen ---------- Post added at 11:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:16 PM ---------- Prophecies Of The Prophet (PBUH). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9fWoO3V14E&feature=PlayList&p=B8104FF1ED1 AB781&index=13 "When a prophet speaks in the Name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word which the Lord has not spoken, the prophet has spoken it presumptuously, you need not be afraid of him.".(Deuteronomy 18:21-22) Prophecies from the Qur’an The triumph of the Byzantines over the Persians The Qur’an gave the news of the conquest of Makka two years before The Qur’an gave the news that the dead body of Pharaoh would one day be discovered Promise of Victory Tidings of the Last Day Examples of the Prophet’s predictions which exist in books of Tradition (hadeeths) While in Makka under great tortures, the Prophet predicted the future victories of Islam The Messenger predicted ‘Ammar’s martyrdom in a civil war The Prophet foretold that Fatima would join him first of all after his death The Prophet predicted the Mongol invasion The Messenger predicted the caliphate of Abu Bakr and ‘Umar The Prophet predicted the conquest of many important cities The Prophet predicted the forms of government after him The Prophet predicted the caliphate and martyrdom of ‘Uthman The Prophet foretold the future victories of Sa‘d The Prophet predicted the conquest of Cyprus The Prophet predicted the appearance of Mukhtar and Hajjaj The Prophet predicted the conquest of Istanbul http://www.answering-christianity.co...hecies_muh.htm Furthermore, i read another hadith about anti-Christ. Deep inside the sea there is darkness, this has now been tested with diving equipment and validated. 2. There are different waves above each other. This has now been tested with hightech equipment, measuring density and temperature, you can find "layers" of sea. 3. The darkness is caused by the layers. Again this is correct. These different layers of sea, since they each have a different density and temperature cause a phenomena which in science we call: "light refraction". Upon each refraction, a percentage of light is reflected back up. So the light is really stoped in part layer by layer. (Do note this only acounts for part of the darkness, allot of the light is also reflected on the surface (+-30%) and also some part of it is "absorbed", nevertheless, that this verse does not contradict science is amazing) (for this verse I didn't look for scientific sources, as I take it the behaviour of light is something widely known and thought in high-school level physics)" 4- The Miracles of prophet mohammad. Of course the Quran is on the top. But he preformed other miralcels as other prophet Jesus,moses,Ibrhiam,.... The Tree Trunk. The Flowing of Water Blessing of Food Healing the Sick Exorcising Devils Prayers Answered And others. From this website. The Miracles of Muhammad (part 3 of 3) - The Religion of Islam or this one. http://www.rasoulallah.net/fl_list_e...4&parent_id=14 There are many other miracles which the Prophet performed related in the Sunnah, or conglomeration of the sayings, deeds, approvals, and descriptions of the Prophet. The Tree Trunk In Medina Muhammad used to deliver sermons leaning on a tree stump. When the number of worshippers increased, someone suggested a pulpit be built so he can use it to deliver the sermon. When the pulpit was built, he abandoned the tree trunk. Abdullah ibn Umar, one of the companions, gave an eye-witness testimony of what happened. The trunk was heard weeping, the Prophet of Mercy went towards it and comforted it with his hand.[1] The event is also confirmed through eye-witness testimony transmitted through the ages with an unbroken chain of reliable scholars (hadith mutawatir).[2] The Flowing of Water On more than one occasion when people were in dire need of water, the blessing of the Muhammad saved them. In the sixth year after the he migrated from Mecca to Medina, Muhammad went to Mecca for pilgrimage. In the long journey through the desert, people ran out of all water, only the Prophet was left with a vessel with which he performed ablution for prayers. He put his hand in vessel, water began flowing from between his fingers. Jabir bin Abdullah, who witnessed the miracle, says of the fifteen hundred men, ‘We drank it and made ablution.’[3] This miracle has been transmitted with an unbroken chain of reliable scholars (hadith mutawatir).[4] The sprouting of water from human fingers is similar to the Moses’ miracle of producing water from a rock. Blessing of Food On more than one occasion, the Prophet blessed food by either praying or touching it so all present could get their fill. This happened at times when food and water shortage afflicted Muslims.[5] These miracles took place in the presence of a large number of people and is, thus, not possible to deny. Healing the Sick Abdullah ibn Ateek broke his leg and Muhammad healed it by wiping his hand over it. Abdullah said it was as if nothing had happened to it! The person who witnessed the miracle was another companion, Bara’ ibn Azib (Saheeh Al-Bukhari) During the expedition of Khyber, Muhammad healed the painful eyes of Ali ibn Abi Talib in front of a whole army. Ali, many years later, became the fourth caliph of Muslims.[6] Exorcising Devils Muhammad exorcised the devil out of a boy brought by his mother for healing to him by saying, ‘Come out! I am Muhammad, the Messenger of God!’ The woman said, ‘By the One who sent you with the truth, we have never seen anything wrong with him since.’[7] Prayers Answered (1) The mother of Abu Hurayra, a close companion of Muhammad, used to speak ill of Islam and its prophet. One day, Abu Hurayra came weeping to Muhammad and asked him to pray for his mother to be saved. Muhammad prayed and when Abu Hurayra returned home he found his mother ready to accept Islam. She bore the testimony of faith in front of her son and entered Islam.[8] (2) Jarir ibn Abdullah was commissioned by the Prophet to rid the land of an idol worshipped besides God, but he complained he was could not ride a horse well! The Prophet prayed for him, ‘O God, make him a strong horseman and make him one is guides and is guided.’ Jarir testifies he never fell off his horse after the Prophet prayed for him.[9] (3) The people were struck with famine during the time of Muhammad. A man stood up when Muhammad was delivering the weekly sermon on Friday, and said, ‘O Messenger of God, our wealth has been destroyed and our children are starving. Pray to God for us.’ Muhammad raised his hands in prayer. Those in attendance testify that that the moment he lowered his hands after praying, clouds began to build like mountains! By the time he stepped down of his pulpit, rain was dripping from his beard! It rained the whole week till next Friday! The same man stood up again, complained this time, ‘O Messenger of God, our buildings are destroyed, and our property is drowned, pray to God for us!’ Muhammad raised his hands and prayed, ‘O God, (let it rain) around us, but not on us.’ Those in attendance testify that the clouds withdrew in the direction he pointed, the city of Medina was surrounded by clouds, but there were no clouds over it![10] (4) Here is the beautiful story of Jabir. He testifies that on one time, the camel he was riding was exhausted because it was used for carrying water. The camel could hardly walk. Muhammad asked him, ‘What’s the matter with your camel?’ On finding out how tired the poor camel was, Muhammad prayed for the poor animal and from that time, Jabir tells us, the camel was always ahead of others! Muhammad asked Jabir, ‘How do you find your camel?’ Jabir responded, ‘It is well, your blessing has reached it!’ Muhammad bought the camel from Jabir on the spot for a piece of gold, with the condition that Jabir ride it back to the city! On reaching Medina, Jabir says he brought the camel to Muhammad the next morning. Muhammad gave him the piece of gold and told him to keep his camel![11] It is no wonder why those around him who witnessed these great miracles performed in front of crowds were certain of his truthfulness. | [5-Scientific Facts In The Qur'an] The Quran on the Cerebrum:God has said in the Quran about one of the evil unbelievers who forbade the Prophet Muhammad from praying at the Kaaba: No! If he does not stop, We will take him by the naseyah (front of the head), a lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)! (Quran, 96:15-16)Why did the Quran describe the front of the head as being lying and sinful? Why didn’t the Quran say that the person was lying and sinful? What is the relationship between the front of the head and lying and sinfulness? If we look into the skull at the front of the head, we will find the prefrontal area of the cerebrum (see figure 12). What does physiology tell us about the function of this area? A book entitled Essentials of Anatomy & Physiology says about this area, “The motivation and the foresight to plan and initiate movements occur in the anterior portion of the frontal lobes, the prefrontal area. This is a region of association cortex...” Also the book says, “In relation to its involvement in motivation, the prefrontal area is also thought to be the functional center for aggression....” So, this area of the cerebrum is responsible for planning, motivating, and initiating good and sinful behavior and is responsible for the telling of lies and the speaking of truth. Thus, it is proper to describe the front of the head as lying and sinful when someone lies or commits a sin, as the Quran has said, “...A lying, sinful naseyah (front of the head)!”Scientists have only discovered these functions of the prefrontal area in the last sixty years, according to Professor Keith L. Moore.![]() ASTRONOMY Whenever I describe to Westerners the details the Qur’an contains on certain points of astronomy, it is common for someone to reply that there is nothing unusual in this since the Arabs made important discoveries in the field of astronomy long before the Europeans. But, this is a mistaken idea resulting from an ignorance of history. In the first place, science developed in the Arab World at a considerable time after the Qur’anic revelation had occurred. Secondly, the scientific knowledge prevalent at the highpoint of Islamic civilization would have made it impossible for any human being to have written statements on the heavens comparable to those in the Qur’an. The material on this subject is so vast that I can only provide a brief outline of it here. The Sun and Moon. Whereas the Bible talks of the sun and the moon as two lights differing only in size, the Qur’an distinguishes between them by the use of different terms: light (noor) for the moon, and lamp (siraaj) for the sun. "Did you see how Allah created seven heavens, one above the other, and made in them the moon a light and the sun a lamp?" Qur’an, 78:12-13 The moon is an inert body which reflects light, whereas the sun is a celestial body in a state of permanent combustion producing both light and heat. Stars and Planets The word ‘star’ (najm) in the Qur’an ( 86:3 ) is accompanied by the adjective thaaqib which indicates that it burns and consumes itself as it pierces through the shadows of the night. It was much later discovered that stars are heavenly bodies producing their own light like the sun. In the Qur’an, a different word, kawkab, is used to refer to the planets which are celestial bodies that reflect light and do not produce their own light like the sun. “We have adorned the lowest heaven with ornaments, the planets.” Qur’an, 37:6 Orbits Today, the laws governing the celestial systems are well known. Galaxies are balanced by the position of stars and planets in well-defined orbits, as well as the interplay of gravitational forces produced by their masses and the speed of their movements. But is this not what the Qur’an describes in terms which have only become comprehensible in modern times. In chapter al-Ambiyaa we find: “(God is) the one who created the night, the day, the sun and the moon. Each one is traveling in an orbit with its own motion.” Qur’an,21:33 The Arabic word which expresses this movement is the verb yasbahoon which implies the idea of motion produced by a moving body, whether it is the movement of one’s legs running on the ground, or the action of swimming in water. In the case of a celestial body, one is forced to translate it, according to its original meaning, as ‘to travel with its own motion.’ In my book, The Bible, The Qur'an and Science, I have given the precise scientific data corresponding to the motion of celestial bodies. They are well known for the moon, but less widely known for the sun. The Day and Night The Qur’anic description of the sequence of day and night would, in itself, be rather commonplace were it not for the fact that it is expressed in terms that are today highly appropriate. The Qur’an uses the verb kawwara in chapter az-Zumar to describe the way the night ‘winds’ or ‘coils’ itself around the day and the day around the night. “He coils the night upon the day and the day upon the night.” Qur’an, 39:5 The original meaning of the verb kis to coil a turban around the head. This is a totally valid comparison; yet at the time the Qur’an was revealed, the astronomical data necessary to make this comparison were unknown. It is not until man landed on the moon and observed the earth spinning on its axis, that the dark half of the globe appeared to wind itself around the light and the light half appeared to wind itself around the dark. The Solar Apex The notion of a settled place for the sun is vividly described in chapter Yaa Seen of the Qur’an: "The sun runs its coarse to a settled place That is the decree of the Almighty, the All Knowing.” Qur’an, 36:38 “Settled place” is the translation of the word mustaqarr which indicates an exact appointed place and time. Modern astronomy confirms that the solar system is indeed moving in space at a rate of 12 miles per second towards a point situated in the constellation of Hercules ( alpha lyrae ) whose exact location has been precisely calculated. Astronomers have even give it a name, the solar apex. Expansion of the Universe Chapter ath-Thaariyaat of the Qur’an also seems to allude to one of the most imposing discoveries of modern science, the expansion of the Universe. “I built the heaven with power and it is I, who am expanding it.” Qur’an,51:47 The expansion of the universe was first suggested by the general theory of relativity and is supported by the calculations of astrophysics. The regular movement of the galactic light towards the red section of the spectrum is explained by the distancing of one galaxy from another. Thus, the size of the universe appears to be progressively increasing. Conquest of Space Among the achievements of modern science is the “conquest” of space which has resulted in mans journey to the moon. The prediction of this event surely springs to mind when we read the chapter ar-Rahmaan in the Qur’an: “O assembly of Jinns and men, if you can penetrate the regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate them! You will not penetrate them except with authority.” Qur’an,55:33 Authority to travel in space can only come from the Creator of the laws which govern movement and space. The whole of this Qur’anic chapter invites humankind to recognize God’s beneficence. Witness of the people of the book. Btw, it must be noted that many priest and preacher revert to Islam while we find any sheik convert to Christianity. Al-Bukhari gave a long narration of the contents of the letter sent by the Prophet (Peace be upon him) to Hercules, king of the Byzantines:“In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. From Muhammad, the slave of Allâh and His Messenger to Hercules, king of the Byzantines. Blessed are those who follow true guidance. I invite you to embrace Islam so that you may live in security. If you come within the fold of Islam, Allâh will give you double reward, but in case you turn your back upon it, then the burden of the sins of all your people shall fall on your shoulders.“Say [O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]: ‘O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), come to a word that is just between us and you, that we worship none but Allâh, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allâh.’ Then, if they turn away, say: ‘Bear witness that we are Muslims.’ ” [3:64] The Muslim envoy, Dihyah bin Khalifah Al-Kalbi, was ordered to hand the letter over to king of Busra, who would in turn, send it to Caesar. Incidentally, Abu Sufyan bin Harb, who by that time had not embraced Islam, was summoned to the court and Hercules asked him many questions about Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and the religion which he preached. The testimony which this avowed enemy of the Prophet gave regarding the personal excellence of the Prophet’s character and the good that Islam was doing the human race, left Hercules wonder-struck. Al-Bukhâri, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, narrated that Hercules sent for Abu Sufyan and his companions, who happened to be trading in Ash-Sham, Jerusalem. That was during the truce that had been concluded between the polytheists of Quraish and the Messenger of Allâh (Peace be upon him). Hercules, seated amongst his chiefs of staff, asked, “Who amongst you is the nearest relative to the man who claims to be a Prophet?” “I (Abu Sufyan) replied: ‘I am the nearest relative to him from amongst the group.’ So they made me sit in front of him and made my companions sit behind me. Then he called upon his translator and said (to him). ‘Tell them (i.e. Abu Sufyan’s companions) that I am going to ask him (i.e. Abu Sufyan) regarding that man who claims to be a Prophet. So if he tells a lie, they should contradict him (instantly)’. By Allâh had I not been afraid that my companions would consider me a liar, I would have told lies”, Abu Sufyan later said. Abu Sufyan’s testimony went as follows: “Muhammad descends from a noble family. No one of his family happened to assume kingship. His followers are those deemed weak with numbers ever growing. He neither tells lies nor betrays others, we fight him and he fights us but with alternate victory. He bids people to worship Allâh Alone with no associate, and abandon our fathers’ beliefs. He orders us to observe prayer, honesty, abstinence and maintain strong family ties.” “Hercules, on hearing this testimony, turned to his translator bidding him to communicate to us his following impression which reveals full conviction in the truthfulness of Muhammad’s Prophethood: ‘I fully realize that Prophets come from noble families; he does not affect any previous example of Prophethood. Since none of his ancestors was a monarch, we cannot then allege that he is a man trying to reclaim his father’s monarchy. So long as he does not tell lies to people, he is for the more reason, immune to telling lies as regards Allâh. Concerning his followers being those deemed weak with numbers ever growing, it is something that goes in agreement with questions of Faith until this latter assumes its full dimensions geographically and demographically. I have understood that no instance of apostasy has as yet appeared among his followers, and this points to the bliss of Faith that finds its abode in the human heart. Betrayal, as I see, is alien to him because real Prophets hold betrayal in . Bidding worship of Allâh with no associates, observance of prayer, honesty and abstinence and prohibition of paganism are traits bound to subject to him all my possessions. I have already known that a Prophet must arise but it has never occurred to me that he will be an Arab from among you. If I was sure I would be faithful to him, I might hope to meet him, and if I were with him, I would wash his feet.’ Hercules then requested that the Prophet’s letter be read. The observations of the emperor and finally the definite and clear-cut exposition of the Islamic message could not but create a tense atmosphere amongst the clergy present at the court. We were ordered to go out.” Abu Sufyan said, “While coming out, I said to my companions, ‘The matter of Ibn Abi Kabshah [i.e. Muhammad (Peace be upon him)] has become so prominent that even the king of Banu Al-Asfar (i.e. the Romans) is afraid of him.’ So I continued to believe that Allâh’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) would be victorious, till Allâh made me embrace Islam.” The king did not embrace Islam — for it was differently ordained. However, the Muslim envoy was returned to Madinah with the felicitations of the emperor. Last edited by salman; 11-14-2009 at 10:51 PM. Reason: fixed embed video |

| Brother Omar has typed it, May Allah reward him.Ameen. http://www.turntoislam.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55684 Allaah promised His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) that his religion would prevail over all others. Allaah said (interpretation of the meaning): “It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all religions” [al-Tawbah 9:33; al-Fath 48:28; al-Saff 61:9] Al-Qurtubi said: Allaah indeed did that. Whenever Abu Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with him) sent his armies out on a campaign, he would remind them of what Allaah had promised them, that He would cause His religion to prevail, so that they would be confident of victory and certain of success. ‘Umar used to do likewise, and their conquests continued east and west, by land and sea. Tafseer al-Qurtubi, 1/75 ___________ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, when Jibreel asked him about the signs of the Hour: “When you see the barefoot, naked, destitute shepherds competing in the construction of lofty buildings.” Ibn Rajab said, commenting on this hadeeth: What is meant is that the lowest of the people will become their leaders, and their wealth will increase, until they compete in building tall buildings, and adorning them. Al-Nawawi mentioned the same meaning in Sharh Saheeh Muslim, where he discussed this hadeeth. "Dubai"for instance-now-:- ![]() ![]() Last edited by salman; 11-14-2009 at 10:45 PM.
