So, the question is why do Muslims say that Islam is the Only true religion?

I have PROOF. And when we say PROOF, it means a series of evidences. You don't go to court to present your claim that your statement is true without evidences, do you? Same goes with religion, we don't tell anybody that Islam is the true religion without evidences to back that claim.

To non-Muslims, go ahead and "scrutinize" these evidences. But remember, do it with an objective goal, NOT subjective. Like in a court, you will be the judge. And like a true judge, you must be IMPARTIAL, weigh the evidences RATIONALLY without any BIASES. Analyze it thoroughly using your INTELLECT. And then give your "verdict" to those evidences.

To Muslims, this is to further strengthen your conviction that Islam is indeed the ONLY true religion as we claim it to be. Not just a claim with no bases.

What you seem to be saying is that all people who have submitted to the will of God for all time are muslims, regardless of their nominal religion. Couldn't people from other religions say the same thing? Or is that the point - it doesn't matter what religion you follow as long as you are somehow in Gods path? Doesn't this make all the specifics of what you are supposed to do, how you should live your life, what ceremonies and practices you recognise a bit irrelevant?

And on an impartial and rational basis, what actual proof is there in what you have written for the existance of a god at all? How many non-belieivers have you managed to convince with these words?

To answer your question,
From the Islamic point of view, all people who followed one of the many Prophets, all people who believe in one true God without partners, and submit themselves to Him; are in the wider sense of the word indeed all Muslims.
However this doesn't mean that all followers of the three monotheistic faith are considered muslims. We have a much stricter definition of monotheism. The Christian concept of trinity for example is directly in contradiction with monotheism from our point of view. But next to dubious articles of faith, actions matter also. Many acts can be seen as false worship; this is what we call "shirk". There exists many types of shirk, small and large, open and hidden. Nowadays you won't find many people committing open shirk such as worshiping a stone idol. But hidden shirks are still very wide-spread like if you blindly follow a scholar who goes in against his own scripture, you're giving him authority and in a way worshipping him. There's pop-idols, actors, athletes who are being idolized. If you are vain, you're worshipping yourself admiring your own characteristics, while in reality it Is God who deserves worship for giving you those characteristics out of his mercy. And the list goes on. In the end, it is nearly impossible for one human to judge another as being a true Muslim in the wide sense of the word or not. We can only judge on people's actions, not on what is in their hearts and minds.

Islam is the only true religion, and it gives the right direction and source of light for Muslims. To seek this light one needs to learn Quran.
some people have strong belief and claim, because their inner heart says, God is exist, Allah is exist, islam, is the true religion

Am I missing something? The article in the link is a list of claims and assertions. Without any proof or even evidence.

Someone called Billy Meier, living in Switzerland, claimed he was the final prophet after Jesus, Muhammad, Joseph Smith and L Ron Hubbard. He said he had proof, just never presented it. And what he did was present was false.

So I don't understand what proof a Muslim has to believe Islam is the ONLY true religion. What does true mean? Is Rastafarian not true? For the followers and believers in Rastafarian it is. 20% of the population believe Islam is true. 80% say it is not. How does one determine the truth of something that is based in the realm of faith? It's impossible. I maintain all religions are right to a certain extent.
It's the claims towards others that set them apart.
