I mean that this will be a step by step dawah tool for the non muslim, so if anyones interested in islam - then we can just hand them this link without having to debate with them, and they can answer the questions which they find relevant to find more detail on what they require.


So this is different from idawah database because its not refutations, its simple islamic dawah, but automated.

It depends, muslims will probably call it Automated Dawah. But since its targetting and for non muslims, it needs to have a catchy title for them. We'll call it automated dawah for the time being until we find something better, since we have to make alot of the articles yet anyway.

We cant call it genie since its controversial, and asking jinn for help may lead to greater sin.

ok akhee, I'm going to call it Dawah Questionnaire for now. btw, it seems, I'm thinking of more complicated system than your idea, so clarify few things for me:

1 - will there be more than two options for user?
2 - will there be more than 1 article links?

yeh, it will be a choice the person makes - so it causes them to move to an answer relevant to what they answer.

i.e. Yes, or No?

If they click yes, it will lead to the article discussing that issue, which may also have more specific questions aswell.. so it branches down like a web, into more specifics which answer more questions of that person insha Allah.

When adding a new question, do you want to add article text there or would you prefer adding article text separately and then choosing the article text which you want to appear for that question. In addition to allowing multiple articles to appear, the latar would also allow the option of linking to that text directly.

i thought a simple hyperlink job would be ok.. you know like;

The person clicks on A, and A shows an article, and might have more sub hyperlinks on to other pages.


That's how i originally thought it could be.



So i'd prefer one article, maybe just a few paragraphs on that page, and the person clicks on more options after that.

I.e. are you christian or atheist?

Clicks on christian.


Then info on Jesus for example. You get me?


I want only one article per page, with hyperlinks for more options. But also hyperlinks below that for articles related to that topic which may be worth reading for that person.

^akhee, I got the presentaion of front-end from previous posts. Here, I was asking about the back-end. Front-end will appear exactly how you have described, but how do you want the back-end:

a) have one page where you do all the work (i.e., set question title, what to do if user selects "NO", and what to do if user selects "YES", add article text (optional) and more links to other articles)

OR

b) have a separate page for adding article and then a separate page for adding the question where you will have the option to link to one of those articles

get what I mean?

a quick thought came to my mind, I think I can manage the direct link part even if go with option a)
