oh boy

thats a big question for me

It depends on what each person is in the mood for.

in my view, we already got christianity slammed on the ground most notably handled by akhoona Bassam Zawaadi and our brother Ansar al-Adl on the Islamicboard forum and the main website

We already got the Jewish thing on lock down. Unfortunately it is locked by a a blazing Kharijite by the name of Yusif al-Khattab. However, despite his outrageously renegade views, the only thing I can see commending him on is his contributions to exposing some jewish realities and misnomers, and he did so quite well.

There is the apostate world that we can attack. However, I do not suggest that any of us deal with them yet.

There are several things that need to be done, but I want to ask if yall are ready.

I guess I draw up some kind of map in my head and map it out here on this post

1. Comparative analysis between our Fiqh and Shariah versus the shariah of the Secularist western world. I guess this wont rock anyone's boat unless they truely love fiqh and studying the world of ahkaam, laws, principles, methods of deductions, general, specific, and the mountain of other matters in terms of our shariah, and then bring forth stark analysitical comparison to that of the secularist law. I am one of those persons as I love every single science, however I don;t have the ability to do it all at once or else I would have to live like 3 lifetimes in order to actually accomplish something.

At any rate, part of this aspect INVOLVES comparing the reality of our jihaad with what the kuffar call in modern times "foreign policy". The reason why is because as anyone who has reviewed the classical books of fiqh for example, under "kitaabul-Jihad", there is an entire universe of various laws, principles, rules, practices, modes of conduct ranging from peace treaties, alliances, how to deal with various nations, etc, etc, etc. In other words, in Islam, there is more to do with Jihad than the simple kaafir notion of "holy war".
Part of this effort on Jihad involves ultimately raising Jihad into a much loftier position than what Islam's enemies had limited it to, both the kuffar and the khawaarij. This may have to involve arabic speakers who can translate the relevant portions of these works of fiqh.

So as you can see, it is a major task
next

2. The Academic Breakdown of the Defunct Madhaab of Progressive Modernism. We need to expand our efforts into exposing and showing the regressive nature of this madhaab and the bizzare and awkward train of thought and logic it operates on
they are a big fitnah. One of the best ways in dealing with this bankrupt madhaab is by actually taking their talking points and blasting these points using contemplative analytical approaches in contrast with the Islamic model of thinking and philosophy (when I say philosophy here, I mean our way of thought and practice i.e. our manhaj)

3. the Annihilation of secularism. And we need to do this from a truely deep professional, and academic way. Our speech pretty much has to be like University style.

please understand, each one of these fields of articulation all has to be done as if this piece of work your doing IS your Masters Thesis or your Doctorate study. If you have this in mind, you will by default choose much more correct language and your mind opens up to be a bit more contemplative.

4. Another quadrant that could be utilized as part of our project is addressing the think tanks and opinion makers, and policy makers, going to their sites, and reviewing all of their works on
A. jihad
B. Salafism
C. shariah
D. basically anything that has become the hot topics of debate in todays climate. We need to review them and break it down

for example, Im currently doing a major project in breaking down a work called "Civil Democratic Islam". This work was authored by Cheryl Bernard. She is I believe a strategist for the Rand cooperation which is one of Americas largest think tank. Understand, think tanks are the very source that export actual ideas and governments and policy makers use their ideas and implement them here and there. I actually continued in breaking down her work so what I have has more information than what is on the Islamthought blog. I may upload it here as a glimpse for everyone here to understand what Im talking about or to have an idea.

and as I said before, learning all those subjects I was talking about makes contributing to these projects SOOOOO much more easier. If you have the basics of science of hadeeth down, some of usoolul-fiqh down (which aids you with shariah principles like for example there is no obligation where there is inability etc) then you will superbly defeat any argument and attack from the kuffar like you would swat a mosquito. Also, if you listen to the 5th lecture, I reiterated knowledge of history. history is one of hte major subjects that every person in this project must acquaint him or herself with. I know I know, most people don;t like history. Al-hamdulillah I loved history.

i think there may be couple more topics but there are already efforts in this and others which i may not have thought

offer your ideas and we can review them and where they should be placed in a sort of map thingamajig's

oh yeah

another quqadrant we need to deal with is provide an entire platoon on how the religion of America and the west is no longer christianity. nobody is a christian anymore. the modern religion of the west is mainly hedonism, an pluralism, however the main religion is hedonism. everything is geared towards "want you want to do" or "you have the right to do" and the kalaam on this has to be from an ideological level

lol, subhaanAllah; I think akh was asking for more of easier stuff since this seems to be too much for our level. actually, if we really want to push up this project, then in my opinion we got to start working on learning - at least the prerequisite and then we can learn the rest along the way. It would be much better if we do this together, like buy the required books and read them together - this way we all be on the same page or each one of us kind a focus more on one Islamic science along having the basics of other sciences. We also need to find a shaykh or some tulaba to make sure that we understand stuff correctly

We all got our own things to do, so I do not want to be pushy and I wish I could spend all of my time on this project, but it seems Allah has different plans for me and He is the best Planner.

khayr, my two cents

everyone has their own things to be responsible for.

I figure if I just merely ask or assign specific things to ummeesa and others and then they can take their time with it, it will be okay

understand that we are on the cutting edge if you will, kinda of the pioneers. I mean we have some individuals along the same line of work as I referenced in the lectures, however I wanted to take it a few steps further in launching a full attack in the form of "our thought VS their thought"

however, things are stair step
first learn and continue learning.

maybe I might do a audio or video conference using dimdim.com once in a while wallahul-alim

it might be a good platform to educate others precisely on our

anyways, one hting concerning dawah work, we are to do what we are to do, whether everyone or no one aids us. we are not affected or harmed by nothing. its not going to affect me in the slightest of everyone here abandons the project. things happen and then if it has a snowball effect, then so be it, otherwise, so be it.

asalaam alaikum

true akh^

are you using any methods to advertise?

In regard to the issue of writing articles, most of us havn't completed a degree yet or anything.. so we need steps to progress. erm, maybe we could work together on articles and gathering the different evidences to make group reports, and once we get used to that - we can make individual reports?

Also, i think there needs to be a section or atleast things on atheism - since that is the new 'religion' that is forming in the west in replacement of christianity. The youth who follow christianity are 'backward' in the US/UK now, and atheism is the new deal of the 'hedonism' bro boriqee discussed. Bro Abdul Fattah, if he had the time would be well good for this since he is an ex atheist, and has experience in writing kind of professionaly.

Maybe to a certain segment of society. The veil is not really where I want to go.

Salman hook the brother up somehow with the 5 lectures on the nature of the polemic.

Akhee, the veil, the economics if islam, hijab, or whatever, shid not be our concern. The reason why these issues are such a hot topic is because the only reason why they are contending with us is because they have no faith. Not only do they have faith but they sunk so fad deep into the deep blue sea of illogic that when the reason of religion hits them, they see a flipped version of it and that is why they deme the way of the prophets as backwards and absurd.

What I'm trying to say is that you can debat for years about the validity of these fiqh issues, but you will
1. Never be successful in showing them the true deen and
2. You won't give justice to islam.
Never get into a fiqh discussion with with a kaafir because they have no emaan to understand the reality of these fiqh issues. It takes emaan to understand fiqh. If you have no emaan you are intrinsically unqualified to understand overall fiqh or shariah of Allah.

This is why when you argue with kaafirs, it is useless to surround your discussion and the representation of your arguments within the framework of the topic, rather you have to take it back to tawheed.

Islam is
tawheed
aakhira
risaalah

the whe of islam from front to back all resorts back to these three fundamentals. When we practice our shariah and fiqh, all of it is done for the basis and to uphold these three fundamentals if. So if the kaafir is depried if these three, how on earth can they undertand about our shariah.
