Default IDEA: Pre-Templated Posts for Dawah.

A Great Dawah technique without any hardship!

...I was thinking, we could get some ideas to refute alot of misconceptions, without having to go into long debate.

Idea 1:

A Pre-Templated Thread on Prophet Muhammad;

So instead of anti-Islamic people insulting Islam and asking who Prophet Muhammad is, we instead make that our focus straight away from the very first post [in that other forum]. Then the thread gets bumped back to the top everytime someone else posts in that thread, which makes you be amazed at the words of Allah to His Messenger;
وَرَفَعْنَا لَكَ ذِكْرَكَ

Did We not exalt your mention?

Trust me, if you can keep that thread running, even if its just by small comments, or even if trolls insult Islam within that thread.. they just continue to benefit us because the dawah continues to increase to new watchers of the thread walhamdulillah!

Thread Title: What they (the great Thinkers) said about Muhammad...

Lamartine said about Muhammad;

"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?”

[Histoire de la Turquie, Paris 1854, Vol II, pp. 276-77]

Annie Besant, The Life and Teachings of Muhammad, Madras 1932, p. 4:

“It is impossible for anyone who studies the life and character of the great Prophet of Arabia, who knows how he taught and how he lived, to feel anything but reverence for that mighty Prophet, one of the great messengers of the Supreme. And although in what I put to you I shall say many things which may be familiar to many, yet I myself feel whenever I re-read them, a new way of admiration, a new sense of reverence for that mighty Arabian teacher.”

James A. Michener, ‘Islam: The Misunderstood Religion’ in Reader’s Digest (American Edition), May 1955, pp. 68-70:

“Muhammad, the inspired man who founded Islam, was born about A.D. 570 into an Arabian tribe that worshipped idols. Orphaned at birth, he was always particularly solicitous of the poor and needy, the widow and the orphan, the slave and the downtrodden. At twenty he was already a successful businessman, and soon became director of camel caravans for a wealthy widow. When he reached twenty-five, his employer, recognizing his merit, proposed marriage. Even though she was fifteen years older, he married her, and as long as she lived, remained a devoted husband.

“Like almost every major prophet before him, Muhammad fought shy of serving as the transmitter of God’s word, sensing his own inadequacy. But the angel commanded ‘Read’. So far as we know, Muhammad was unable to read or write, but he began to dictate those inspired words which would soon revolutionize a large segment of the earth: “There is one God.”

“In all things Muhammad was profoundly practical. When his beloved son Ibrahim died, an eclipse occurred, and rumors of God’s personal condolence quickly arose. Whereupon Muhammad is said to have announced, ‘An eclipse is a phenomenon of nature. It is foolish to attribute such things to the death or birth of a human-being.’
“At Muhammad’s own death an attempt was made to deify him, but the man who was to become his administrative successor killed the hysteria with one of the noblest speeches in religious history: ‘If there are any among you who worshipped Muhammad, he has died. But if it is God you worshipped, He lives forever.’”

Michael H. Hart, The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History, New York: Hart Publishing Company, Inc. 1978, p. 33:

“My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level.”

Here's a good documentary on his life and character too ;

The Most Beautiful Man Ever...

He [Muhammad] was the most forbearing of people, the most courageous of people, the most just of people, the most chaste of people. His hand never touched the hand of any woman unless he was married to her or was closely related to her by blood (mahram).

He was the most generous of people, who never kept a dinar [gold coin] or a dirham [silver coin] with him overnight. If he had anything left over and he could not find someone to give it to before night came, he would not go home until he had donated it to someone who needed it. He did not take anything from that which God had bestowed upon him except one year’s supply of the simplest provisions, dates and barley, giving all of that for the sake of God.

He was never asked for anything but he gave it, then he would go back to his annual supplies and donate from them to those who needed it more, then he might run out before the year ended. He used to repair his own sandals and mend his own clothes, and he would help his family in the home and cut meat for them.

He was the most modest of people and would not look anyone straight in the eye. He would respond to the invitations of slave and free alike, and accept a gift even if it was a cup of milk, and he would reward a person for it. He did not eat food that had been given in charity, and he would respond to slave women and the poor when they asked him for something. He got angry for the sake of his Lord but he did not get angry for his own sake.

He would adhere to the truth even if that resulted in harm for himself or his companions. He found one of the best of his companions slain in an area where Jews lived, but he did not treat them harshly or do more than that which is prescribed by sharee’ah. Rather he paid a diyah [blood money] for him of one hundred camels even though some of his companions were in desperate need of just one camel. He would tie a rock to his stomach to ward off hunger pangs, and he did not refuse halal [permissible] food or and he would not eat reclining or at a table.

He never ate his fill of bread for three days in a row until he met God (i.e. died), may He be exalted, as he would prefer to give away what he had rather than eat his fill, not because of poverty or miserliness. He would accept invitations to meals, visit the sick, and attend funerals. He walked alone among his enemies without a guard. He was the most humble and quiet of people without being arrogant, the most eloquent without being long-winded, the most cheerful of countenance.

He did not worry about worldly matters. He wore whatever he found, and let others ride behind him on his mount. He rode whatever was available, sometimes a horse, sometimes a camel, sometimes a mule and sometimes a donkey. Sometimes he walked barefoot, with no cloak, turban or cap, visiting the sick in the furthest parts of Madinah.

He loved perfume and hated foul smells. He would sit with the poor and offer food to and eat with the needy, honouring the virtuous and softening the hearts of people of status by treating them kindly. He upheld ties of kinship without favouring his relatives over those who were better than them, and he did not treat anyone harshly. He accepted the excuses of those who apologized to him; he would joke but he only spoke the truth, and he would smile without laughing out loud. If he saw permissible play he did not denounce it, and he raced with his wife for fun. When voices were raised against him, he bore that with patience. He did not waste time without striving for the sake of God or doing that which was essential to better himself. He did not look down on any poor person because of his poverty or chronic sickness, and he did not fear any king because of his power. He called both of them to God on equal terms.

Post 3:

And this is his final speech, to over 90,000 people, in his final farewell pilgrimage.

He said;

The Final Sermon:
After praising, and thanking God, the Prophet Muhammad, may God send His praises upon him said:

“O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore, listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. God has Judged that there shall be no interest, and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn Abd’al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived...

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under a trust from God and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God, perform your five daily prayers, fast during the month of Ramadan, and offer Zakat [the charity]. Perform Hajj [the pilgrimage] if you have the means.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor does a non-Arab have any superiority over an Arab; white has no superiority over black, nor does a black have any superiority over white; [none have superiority over another] except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me, and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and my example - the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and it may be that the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.”

Thus the beloved Prophet completed his Final Sermon, and upon it, near the summit of Arafat, the revelation came down:

“…This day have I [God] perfected your religion for you, completed My Grace upon you, and have chosen Islam [submission to God] for you as your religion…” (Quran 5:3)

Asalaam alaikum

now look at the psychology behind this.

If its a forum, even if someone doesn't view the thread (out of laziness or fear or hate), if they drag over the thread title, they'll see the first quote. And what was the first quote?

Lamartine said about Muhammad;

"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?”
you get what i mean? :D

Then when they go on the thread, they see that it's what some intellectual authorities said about him, so its not 'biased by Muslims'.

2nd post is on who he really is, from Islamic sources, with his description.

and the 3rd post is his speech itself, and what an amazing speech it is :D

we also notice that the psychology of a person on a forum is to read the first post, but if they want to rush and ignore 'the muslim' - they'll go to the 2nd post without reading the first one, to see how people have responded.. but surprise surprise, its another Muslim response! and if they still ignore that and go on the 3rd, its again! another muslim post.

so either then, they have the choice; their curiousity overtakes them and they read it, or they just leave the thread. OR, they insult Islam ignorantly, but guess what!? He actually bumps the thread for other users to see :D alhamdulillah!

but on some forums, the anti islamic people are clever, so they don't want to bump the post.. so they stay quiet. so then it may be that another muslim on that forum responds and says 'wow thats kool', or you have to just bump it by adding other good stuff about islam, while the anti islamic person stays quiet out of fear of bumping up the thread again. lol Allahu akbar.

so basically we get on forums (or even this one) and make a thread about the good things (and of course if its about rasoolullah,sallalahu aleyhi wa sallam, it always will be good, bt from the eyes of an anti-Islamic scum bag it wont be) that way they dont have a reason to attack since its a "peace" thread? and so everytime someone adds a post, it bumps up the thread and everyone sees the good character of rasoolullah, sallalahu aleyhi wa sallam?

we wanted to do the idea on famous non muslim forums, so we pasted the above (it was just an idea), and then whenever anyone bumped the thread [with a good or bad intent] - the good stuff on his biography became even more famous for the readers.
