Christians [or even non christians] say that we can't build Churches in Saudi Arabia, so Islam is oppressive and wants to build Mosques in other lands. So Muslims can reply that Mosques aren't built in the Vatican (which is a sign that its probably not allowed there, since there is a muslim population there). |

It is believed that the Shiva Lingam removed from the original temple was hidden in this well to protect it from Aurangazeb and it still lies there. There is no bar in Bible that non-Chrisitians can't enter there. So , the holiest mosque or the holy city of Muslims can't be compared to Vatican as God declared this place ( Kaaba ) as holy . Vatican is holy only to Catholics , not considered as holy even by all Christians.

the whole premise is wrong which is why kuffar in some ways has an upper-hand. If we can substitute the term "arabia" for "makkah and medina" then it would be more Islamically accurate.

I am aware of the hadeeth which is that shirk has been eliminated from the arabian peninsula. from what I have glanced at from before, the context was with regard to the established recognized structure of what is recognized as the deen of the peninsula i.e. the state religion. that was why i remember coming across a narration where the muslims gave the yahood of medina some monetary aid in order to leave it. the order was for them to leave medina and settle somewhere else and not the entire peninsula wallahul-alim. please bring some back up in order for us to reach the truth inshallah.
