> The covenant with the Jews wasn't eternal [According to the OT!]

The Jews will deceive people and say that Allah made an eternal covenant with them and said He would never abandon them. This is false, because the covenant which Allah Tala made with them was conditional, and if they fulfilled the conditions than He would continue to bless them, but if they didn't than He would abandon them and raise up a new ummah. This fact is mentioned in their own book

"The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah." (Jeremiah* 31:31)

The new covenant which is binding upon not only the nation of Israel, but in fact all the nations of the world is the covenant which Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wa salam) has been brought with, namely Islam.


*Jeremiah is from the Old Testament - which Jews accept.




"The time is coming," declares the LORD, "when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah."

32 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their forefathers
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they broke my covenant,
though I was a husband to [a] them, [b] "
declares the LORD.

(Jeremiah 31: 31-32)



Muslims believe that Jews can also be part of this new covenant with God, so long as they follow God's final Messenger Muhammad, and follow his guidance of monotheism, upon the original teachings of Abraham. By accepting this covenant, the wrath of God will be removed from you and God will forgive you your previous sins.


34 No longer will a man teach his neighbor,
or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,'
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest,"
declares the LORD.
"For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more."

[Jeremiah 31:34]


God's Messenger, Muhammad (peace be upon him) said; Submitting in Islam [submission to God] - removes all the sins that came before it.
