|  Awaiting the Mahdi: Covenant or Creed?  A friend had written to me a while back asking about the Mahdî and my assessment of what is presently being circulated on the Internet regarding his appearance, the signs foretelling his arrival, and the dreams that people have about him. He also urged me to deal with the particulars of this topic. I responded to this brother that what is being circulated about the Mahdî is baseless and has no bearing on reality whatsoever. | Re: Awaiting the Mahdi: Covenant or Creed? Assalam-u-A'alikum this is an interesting article, i have yet to finish it but i read the important part of it. The first few paragraphs are quite misleading as they seem to convey that the writer doesn't believe in the arrival of Imam Mahdi(AS). However, if you read further you'll be clarified. He is scholar and definitely knows more than i do but i don't agree with his interpretation regarding the arrival of Imam Mahdi(AS). I'll post up a short rebuttal later after reading everything. Let's see what others have to say.

| Re: Awaiting the Mahdi: Covenant or Creed? Asalam Wa Laikum, in advance Eid Mubarak. I have a serious question regarding Imam Al-Mahdi. Recently I had a basic simple debate with a Christian, as I had him admitting errors, and as I had him admitting the beauty in the Quran. Although I had him confessing, he asked me about Imam Al-Mahdi, and he then told me the bible prophecy regarding their aint-christ and the end of times is fully connected to Imam Al Mahdi. From where he reigns, the way he reigns, and how long he will reign. Also he was saying the link between Islam and the end of times, how he calls it the "deceiving religion". He went into great depth about this issue, as he says what was good for us, was the antichrist beast prophecy for them. Could you please tell me more about this coincidence please. As I know about our teaching of Imam Al-Mahdi, the Dajjal and Isa (AS). Jazakallah. |
