> Let's learn language of the Qur'an (Arabic) together

Thread for learning language of the Qur'an (Arabic) together. As we know, Arabic is the language of the Qur'an and a very rich language. Learning Arabic is next step to obtain higher level of Islamic knowledge. Off course, advance Arabic cannot be learned without studying under scholars, but at least we can try to learn basics so that we understand the Qur'an and able to read Islamic books to gain knowledge, which would help us to give da'wah.

This is summer time and many of the students on the board will be free from university. I thought it would be good idea to kind of design a program to learn Arabic together, because for some people (like myself) it could be hard to focus and learn Arabic on regular basis. So this is what I propose:

1 - We choose part of a book or a video/audio lesson and study for agreed upon time. We take notes, etc.
2 - Let's say the agreed upon time is one week, so after a week we review the material and do the designed exercises: to apply what we learned and to improve vocabulary. We can take a turn or request members, who know Arabic, to design exercises for us.
3 - Before the deadline of a lesson, we can post question(s) for clarification. I don't know if it would be good idea to share notes.
4 - The solutions to exercises should be pmd to person, who designed exercises during that particular week. Once he/she has looked at them or marked them, he/she will post the members' solutions and the actual solution in this thread.

We'll start with material available online and agree upon a regular schedule to start learning, insha'Allah. Those who would like to participate, post here. Remember our intention is to please Allah Ta'ala. I would request brothers/sisters, who know Arabic, to help us out to make this task easy for us and may Allah Ta'ala reward you, ameen.

^^sister, I expect that people, who would like to join, can at least read the Qur'an or at least know Alphabetic and so can somewhat read Arabic.

I've gone over them before and I'll review them again, but I think it would be better if we all start on the same page. I suggest that we start with Medina Arabic lessons and we can refer to baby Arabic lessons for relevant material. Let's wait for few more days to see if more people want to join in.

It is about time we start, we got 4 people, allhamdulillah. We'll start with baby Arabic lessons. We'll go slowly for first week to see how everyone does. So, for first week, let's go over all the material on first page of that thread. Memorize whatever need to be memorized and familiarize yourself with rest of the material.

Important notes:

1 - The week will be divided into two categories: 5 days for studying, learning, and asking questions, etc. 2 days for doing exercises (the weekend - Saturday & Sunday).

2 - The exercises will cover two things: application of learned material and vocabulary.

3 - Whoever has volunteered to post exercises for a particular week should post them by Friday midnight (EST). Others can also post their suggestions but no material for exercises will be accepted after Friday midnight (EST).
