| ![]() Welcome to Islamic-life sister. May Allah make your stay beneficial for everyone, including yourself, ameen. I have never heard of this brother so I don't know but a sincere advice Ukhti, may Allah preserve you, you should be focusing on learning the basics and topics which will benefit you greatly instead of topics and discussions which hardly bring any benefit. I understand that most of the times such questions are asked because we want protect ourselves from that fitnah and their mistakes. However, you should focus on asking about whether a set of beliefs and practices are correct rather than individuals. Secondly, you should stop worrying about who is upon haqq and who is not because Allah is not going to ask us about that and this is not what we are obliged to do. Lastly, no person is free of mistakes and we take good from everyone and leave the bad. And we make dua'a for them because guidance is in hand of Allah. And we fear of arrogance because it's blessing of Allah that He has guided us and we ask him that He let us die as Muslims. May Allah keep us all on haqq, ameen.

| Amin. I agree, but unfortunately life pushes us to question those things before it would be ideal. It's important to know from whom we're taking our knowledge, because to learn the basics we need to learn from the ulama, so we need to know who the ulama are. I have some personal reason to ask about this person, it's a long story. I know everyone makes mistakes but would like to know who is closer to the truth, that is the reason why I asked this question. |

| learn beneficial knowledge and you will know who is who. Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisee has or is a spokeperson for the khawaarij of the era and has practices flagrant takfeer on the senior shiyookh. The Shaikh (Muqbil) also spoke about this Takfiri Jaahil, by the name of Abu Muhammad al-Maqdisi, who is Isaam al-Barqaawi. He was the one who influenced some of the youth, by his writings and teachings, and led them to terrorist activities, which lead to the loss of security and sanctity. The Shaikh mentioned that he (al-Maqdisi) had written some books and passed them on to the Shaikh to check. So the Shaikh passed them on to Shaikh Abdul-Azeez al-Bur'aee who checked the books but realized great errors therein. Upon advising al-Maqdisi, he then realized that al-Madisi began to refute him! Upon being informed of this Shaikh Muqbil informed Shaikh Abdul-Azeez al-Bur'aee, that this man is a Jaahil, Mukaabir (and arrogant ignoramus) and so you should not waste your time with him. Al-Maqdisi is one of the key Takfiri Intelligentsia of today. asalamu alaikum

| For those who could read Arabic, you definitely have to check out Shaykh Abdul Azeez bin Rayyis Al Rayyis's refutation to Abu Muhammad Al Maqdisi's famous Al Kawaashif. The book is called تبديد كواشف العنيد في تكفيره لدولة التوحيد |
